Greetings everyone
I've created this topic knowing it'll end up in flames; infact, well every topic with this kind of content always ends up in flames.
I'll try to make the topic structure as detailed as possible, dividing it in categories since it's going to be a long tl;dr to make it as pleasant to read as possible.
Pre-awakening stuff:
-The quests side is completely broken. Making leveling through 65 to 81 a pain in the as*s. The 900'ish quests are nearly impossible to complete unless you sit down and farm for 4-5 hours straight while the 900 side quests at 81 level are 1 quest item per mob. Increasing their drop chance by 10-15% would be neat.
-Remove the mentor buffs and infinity quiver of arrows (Until A grade). Not to annoy pre-awakening characters, but only a small percentage would stay and farm with mentor buffs. Only bots are grinding 24/7. Same applies on quiver of arrows. It's like you're inviting bots in a party, never return to town to buy supplies but soulshots which is unnecessary for them.
-Increase the exp gained from raid bosses. Make this part of L2 fun again! (I had to write it, even after seeing the confirmation of the new patch we are waiting for weeks/months now)
L2 store:
I know this sounds familiar, with a sh*itlo*ad of topics regarding L2 Store. The major point regarding L2 Store is the Pay2win rewards. Mostly the items that can be purchased with hero coins, with value over 1k+ dollars
-Remove everything over 1000 hero coins. There's simply no point being there. They just irritate everyone. None can purchase it since there's a limit on ncoins that an individual account can purchase yearly. Only few bought the divine scroll to sell for billions of adenas with hero coins refunded from purchases all over the years.
-Focus on cosmetic stuff, supplies, and instance extra passes.
-Put back items that are permanent and needed. Like the rudolph agathion. Make a new cute one, with the same buff since few didn't have the advantage to pay for it when it was available or went on vacations and couldn't purchase it.
-Brooches. We all know it was a pay2win event. The majority of the people whined, others made billions out of it. I will not say anything about it, but since the event has been removed and the items are still permanent, it would be nice to be added as a drop, even with a small chance, available to people that can't afford them.
Economy System:
That's the most fu*c*ked up system ever made. First of all, let's talk about soulshots.
To create a pack of soulshots R grade. You will be needing 80 Soulstones (Aprox 24.000 adena) and 2 Crystals R grade (their prices vary, so I will not be putting their price in here.)
So, without counting the crystals, with 24k adenas you can craft 500 Soulshot R grade, meaning 48 adena per soulshot
To create a pack of blessed spiritshots R grade, you will be needing 750 spirit ore (Aprox 360.000 adena) and 2 Crystals R grade.
So, without the crystals again, with 360k adenas you can craft 500 Blessed spiritshots R grade, meaning 720 adena per Blessed spiritshot.
Is this a fair comparison? A mage would be needing 5-7k bssr daily, meaning around 4-6kk and a fighter class would be needing fairly less with only 600-700k adena.
-Adena drop rate. I know it is nerfed, and will be nerfed again according to NC Korea. Why would that ever happen? The new people suffer, and the community suffers more. I know that until awakening you can make some adena by selling the enchant-rewards from the side-quest with kekropus letter and even sell the quest for the clan reputation but that's all.
I believe less than 10% of the current adena owned from the whole servers would be by grinding, selling unneeded mats and zaken's vorpal jewels to grocers for a nice adena boost. The rest is from already rich chars, made over the years before god
-Instances drop rate. I haven't missed a single daily since the creation day of my character. And I'm currently 92 level. In the whole daily system besides freya extreme and istina, I haven't made a single drop yet but the box-rewards from kartia which always gives mats and normal stones, not even crystal ones. I only saw 1 single drop in a group kartia 90 and another party member got it.
-Antharas expedition, Istina and other raid bosses/instances that gives a supply box after defeating the raid boss. Add more rewards equally to gemstones R or lower the chance of gemstones R. It's an irritating box that we already know the content since we always get a gem R. with more than 80% chance for it, it's impossible to get a higher reward, so make something about it.
-Olympiad rewards. Add R grade equipment available for players since we cannot afford anything higher than R95 boots and gloves after weeks of fighting in oly since the price will never get lower.
Bots/advertisements:
-Generally shouting for adena sell sites: We constantly see bot shouts in aden/gludio, pretty much major cities with adena for money. Why don't you end them the easy way? Make a bot char, buy the fewer adena that can be bought from their site and investigate the players that trade the adena to you. Then ban them, including their bot and main chars. I'm pretty sure that if 3 or 4 of them gets banned, their loss in revenue will be bigger than ncsoft's and they will eventually give up on selling
-Bot parties: Isn't the limit in clients 2? Why not making an auto-trace on ips using more than 3 clients and track down their isp, then a gm investigates their locations and actions and actually do something?
-Bot tracing: I know that you can't always check 24/7 ingame but what if you can hire 2 game masters checking every 3 or 4 hours the major botting zones? Starting from 65-70-76-81 daily quest spots which makes new players suffer from grinding, to higher spots, nornil, pod, which are always fulfilled with bots and ruins our gameplay by not leaving a single spot for anyone else.
-Coc bots: Same applies on more-than-one client. They can bypass it, well, we all know who is botting in coc for the belt on naia which I'm currently playing but still no response regarding this matter.
Support tickets system:
I'm pretty much satisfied by the support system. I made a support ticket and I have gotten the support I needed. But it would be awesome if I wouldn't get a response after 7 hours from making the ticket, and then after answering almost within the minute the response, the next reply was 3 hours afterwards.
General/other problems:
-Kartia 85/90/95. Moving an inch ahead of stairs teleports the player on the back. This is really annoying. I'm not saying remove it, Just don't have this system from the first stair.
-Life plunderer from kartia solo. Either remove it, make it easier to kill or make it with 10-20 hp and 1 damage per hit. After 91 level without sonatas its time taking, specially for mage classes that suffers from -500 casting speed
-Get rid of twitter giveaways, trivia and such. Make events like the ingame celebration you just did. No exp loss and free teleports (which is not at all free, since we pay from clan halls and dimensional teleport from soa to shuttgart and such), maybe even a full vitality week. These are the stuff we all want, not the kind of rewards that only 1 can take with a simple browser script.
-Remove the censored words. fu*ck, fa*g, and so on are not bad words. War, hunger are bad words. Also fa*g is irritating since on some languages there are plenty words containing the word fa*g ending up in asterisks
I know that maybe none of the above will ever be applied, but these are my 2 cents. I'd like this topic not to get locked/removed as I made a big effort writing it, and I'll be waiting to answer to others opinions/threats and insults.
I also know that our game masters and community managers hands are tied up, and they cannot make any move unless they get a confirmation from NC Korea or whatever company owns it. A reply from our community managers or GMs with their honest opinions would be awesome, even if they can't do anything about it.
