Awakened class selection

After awakening you choose a class such as yul or iss etc. It seems like you can select any class. Can you select any class for any toon. I have awakened a birdie trickster and made her a yul.Could I have selected any of the other classes like ISS? I assume that would not be a good idea, but can it be done? I am about ready to awaken a Ghost Sentinel, but the thought occurred to me can I pick another class. Just wondering. :D

From yesterday to this morning i heard of at least 6+ accounts banned (confirmed) at least...2 of them were belonging to my clan,so now i wonder :

What excuse did they used this time? I mean , they were a feoh and a tank , both levels 98s...

Tank never used bot or 3rd programs , and the feoh was banned in the past while sitting in CH[re-rolled] , so he was not even going to install wtfast in order to not risk the ban again , but that was not enough to keep them safe it seems...

So can somebody explain me why the heck 2 legit accounts (and don't say stuffs as "you can't knowwwwwwww" cuz they both suxed in PVP,no uber gear,no bot owning,and they were on almost the whole time even in TS) got banned for no reason?

I wont read the E.U.L.A. 'cuz i'm quite lazy,somebody maybe can tell me why a non "corrupted" account can get banned?maybe they didn't liked their hairstyles? :| (tbh i hope they will figure it out the right way...and not that after banning the real rmter and stuffs,after banning a bounch of legits they will lock the legits and unban the evils D:)

Talisman of longing

Guys I need your advice, specially those who already have Talisman of Longing.

The ingredients are Energy of Destruction and Giant's Energy.

I want to know based on your experience which one is better:

1. Sell all my Giant's Energy and save adena to buy the Talisman of Longing directly? (Currently 8 Billion + on Auction House-Chronos).

or

2. Or trade it to the talisman NPC and try my luck (with elcyum) to upgrade my talisman and make it Talisman of Longing.

I wonder which one is cheaper.

GE cost 6 Million in AH. If I am going to make Talisman of Longing, It will cost me at least 1 Billion (if I'm lucky and no enchant fails.)

General Stone Change (maintaining the level)

A stone that can change the main or dual maintaining the level.

example:

human yul 99 dual 99 healer -> change human yul 99 dual 99iss

or

human yul 99 dual 99 healer -> change human iss 99 dual 99 healer.

I think many would change a healer or iss because missing, would help balance the game.

Nerf Perma Hide Class

I see nothing wrong with Saya Seer having hide skills, but for them to be able to be in permanent hide is just ridiculous. It is ridiculous to have to hide in a box spamming aoe skills just to pop their hide which they can go right back into 2 seconds later.

Is there any news of this being changed in Korea?

Sadly, those were the only actual fights today, besides afk boxes and one loss vs the unbeatable Sayha's Seer. Added a bonus right-after-oly parna kill.

TheBatman has been given special priviledge to get unban for awhile to transfer his clan and his items..... Ncsoft any answer to this as to why are you giving special treatment to this guy?!? im not in shock anymore, for example battle tournament gold names, ncsoft say if you transfer server you will lose gold name, nova transfer all of them retain gold names... this NA server is totally great (insert sarcasm) not only Nova is being backed up by the developers of ******* and they have things they can do on ******* that no other *******s can use (anti hide etc) but they are also backed up by the ones who are running the game... time to pack up your bags kids find a new game or a new server to play...

CoC is a place ,where you have been banned cause using 3rd party programs, even when you never did.

You explain GMs what happened, but no, they claimed you are bot and decision is final. Something is broken, please fix it and give back the characters................ I've bothered to read the whole forum about the issue before i post. Its not about me but about ppl i know, that i play with, that they never used any bot programs and another ppl who replied my shouts and claimed to be banned for same reason... just registering for ceremony of chaos....

Seems lot of people have that issue, fix ur **** programs. Actually u dont need to have program to see the bots. Yeah I guess there are player who auto reg bots just to make marks in CoC, but not everyone is auto, ppl just reg and stay afk inside, or just make matches for SP/Fame quest.

NCSoft have plans to stop automated PvP in our servers?

Tisephor lock Inova with phrase "Discussions about Innova aren't suited for this forum."

But, dear Tisephor, problems with Z-R and automated PvP is the main reason of people leave this server. In my clan at least 2 CP's leave the game due to clan "Africa" (Chronos) automated tools.

They made a fully scripted and automated PvE at Gainak, the only one place in the game where people can farm things to make "Dark" stuff.

The automated PvP make the same problem. This guys use massive auto-target / massive auto-assist.

Since you as game master says "Discussions about Innova aren't suited for this forum." when players write things about NC we never got answers.

hay un serio problema con esa gente que buffea los boss en especial los personajes que se llaman ilililililil y acuarela ellos parece que solo logean al juego a hacer eso y ya llevan largo tiempo haciendolo no levean ni dejan levear no entiendo por que los GMS no hacen nada al respecto y a causa de esto conosco a varias personas que han dejado el server a causa de ello

old hunting areas

i was thinking that instead of adding new areas with new updates, why not just revamp the old areas, there is tons of map space not being used because the newbie quests never takes you through there, like the old abandoned camp area, and fighting areas between gludin and gludio. put some higher level mobs in there for 80+ for subclasses to level. bring back the catacombs and necropolises make them start at 75 and go up to 99 in the higher level ones. the people who are starting new classes will follow the quest story line. the subclasses can find different areas other than the bot infested areas for 72-80 in the newly developed between gludin and giran (minus eg, thats already been done) gludio would still remain the hub for the lower levels. i personally loved leveling in these areas back in c1 and c2. just a thought

Why can't NA be more like Innova

There are so many things that Innova has been doing and it's been working and makes their server worth playing. No Bots,No Adena Seller Shouts. furthermore i suggest like innova NA should also put the brooch system in BS mammon to make the game more balance. NA admins better take serious action now there are lots of your players quitting your server and leaving for innova. I for one have started a new character there and so far its been a nice experience and I definitely suggest the others to try innova as well to see for yourself the difference with how this both admins handle their players/customers.

Fishing Nerfed?

Before Christmas during fishing i was getting 4-7 Wooden Chests in a hour. Now in 3 hours i got no Wooden Chests at all. Is this only by me or there were nerfs during January and now u get 1 chest on 1000 bait?

About RR.

We are and old Erica clan with primarily NA members. Most of the people are active in the evenings (pretty even split with east/west coast). We have a few in other play times, but currently not as active outside North American evening times.

We have an Aden clan hall and like to do a mix of dailies, raids, grinding.

We do sieges and dim sieges (depending on castle ownership).

Currently mostly PvE, but PvP does happen, and we are trying to get back the activity to make that more of a focus.

About Bots/scripts.

We try and keep RR clean of 3rd party program use. I won't make the impossible claim and say it's 100% clean, but anything we catch or are notified about we will look into and put a stop to. In most cases we will give a person a warning before booting them. It's their choice to continue or stop, but if they don't stop they won't be in the clan.

Crossbows R+

Hi, I have been playing as a Trickster, I have just awakened and equiped the diplomas stuff and I have just realised about a possible error with the Requiem Shooter.

You'll see, I have been testing the attack speed of my Yul Trickster with both a Dynasty crossbow and the Requiem Shooter Event. The Dynasty has "slow" attack speed and grants me less attack speed than the Requiem Shooter, which has "normal" attack speed. However I have been auto attacking an npc to see how much faster I hit with the Requiem Shooter and I have realised that, although it gives me more attack speed and has "normal" attack speed, it actually hits slower than the Dynasty crossbow, which hits almost x1.5~x2 faster.

What I'm saying is that R+ crossbows, which are supposed to have a higher base attack speed (as indicated in the weapon description) hit way much slower than S80 crossbows and lower grade. Crossbows still hitting faster than bows (making a crossbow deal less damage and hit slower than a bow would make completely no sense) but hit slower than No-Grade~S80.

So my question is: is this a bug? Because if I have a weapon with "normal" attack speed and it grants me more attack speed I should hit MUCH faster than a weapon with "slow" attack speed. Or has it been made this way intentionally? :confused:

In Chonos in every olympiad day is possible to see a lot of bots (or names like a bot) doing olympiads to farm Giant Energy. This people was in town selling a lot of Giant Energy to make adena and sell adena.

If possible dear GM, check olympiad bot.

I honestly hate having to fight high level bot clans (KsK, Enmity, FS, ect.) and them taking servers one castle at a time.

You should instead only let people who sign for the castles only allowed on. As for Alliances? they should automatically be signed for the other alliance castles without any AoE (Area of Effect) hit the alliance.

I mean, c'mon really? I thought of this idea in 5 min this would help balance the server and make more people active and in doing so, you probably would make more money in the process.

So...this started Wednesday (1/21) after maintenance. When I try to log in to the forums, it tells me incorrect username or password. Over and over again. But if I go to the "Account" tab at the top, and log in through "manage", I get right in...then I can use my shortcut key to go to the forums page again, and I'm good to go. What's up with that?

Questions from a new player

Hello

I'm currently downloading Lineage II and am ready to play- but before that, I am curious about some stuff about the game. It would be great if some veterans in this game can help me out.

1. Everytime I google something about this game, the term 'bots' always seem to be around. What is this 'bot' thing all about?

2. Is Lineage II more of the party based game or solo based game? I've always had an interest towards buffers or healers in every other game and am wondering if players still form a party and look for certain classes.

3. That being said, are healers or buffers out of style? Or are they still played?
