So many stuff in L2 that looks like every toon should get, otherwise just an useless toon...but how good are they really?
Diamond LvL3 adds 945 Def and LvL 5 1986 Def: my first impression, when I saw the diamond, was like WOW! I must have this! But now that I have it...I don't know...not as good as I thought at high level. Take Dia LvL3 for example.
For a Level 70 archer leveling at Dragon valley, things can be tough. With A-grade armor set, even with full buff, most archers get around 1K defense. You can manage 2 mobs with 1k Defense at level 70 but as soon as you have 3 or more mobs, it becomes quite challenging for survival...You gotta do the moving-shot now!
All this changes when you get LvL3 Diamond. Now you get 2k Def(same defense as LvL 70 Tank with heavy armor at this level), and you can just stand there and shoot anything quite comfortably. This is great! I thought...then as I did my awakening and went beyond LvL90 all the way to LvL99....that +945 Defense is still +945...it doesn't get buffed! while +0 set, +6 set, +8 set adds so much more defense with buff(especially when they are blessed!)
Same thing for defense bonus for Abundance Talisman LvL1-LvL4, Anakim, or Seven sign. They don't get + defense from buff, and their Defense bonus is always flat. Well, maybe it's not such a bad thing. I mean at high level, it's not such a big deal if you miss one or two of those I suppose...especially for those people who don't do Nstore shopping, you are not missing much at high level, just a little extra...
Adundance Talisman needs a review I think.
I mean LvL1 gives +971 def but LvL 4 gives only 1307???
4 x LvL1 abundace = 1 x LvL4...and not even double defense for the 4 times the price??? Well Diamond LvL4 has 1986 so it feels like LvL4 abundance needs to be at least 1900+ def, I think...but then again, 4 x LvL3 Dia = 1 x LvL5 Dia but the success rate is so low for the Diamonds...so maybe 1307 is not bad with 100% success rate(with 2.5 Bil Adena for each upgrade that is.)
I just wish we have a 'Nstore Promotion Idea Contest' sometime. I already have a full list of ideas and I am pretty sure I can come up with something REAL GOOD~
