Fishing

I have seen agathions (Zodiac) giving stat boosts etc.But don't know how to obtain them.It's told that they are related to fishing but no info at npc.

Also is it worth fishing actually ? The only thing at fishing npc i 've seen which is worth is elcyum powder ? Anything else ?
