Just sitting here thinking...how the hell does this happen? I've been playing since '04. I party daily. I sell in town. I afk my mentor. I raid. I solo. I siege. I pvp. I quest. I've never had a ban. Never had any kind of warning.
I don't get it.
Are these "legits" that get banned doing questionable things? Partying with bots? Farming in known "bot spots"? Participating in watched "bot events" that are known for being botted (CoC etc)? RMT or at least making suspicious adena transfers between their characters/accounts? Scamming people? Being annoying in town, and people mass block them?
I don't get it.
Whatever you "legits" are doing to get "accidentally" or "wrongly" banned, it's a friggen mystery to me.
My advice is if CoC bots are getting banned......stay the hell out of CoC! If bots are getting banned in Ketra, Varka, Woa, etc......stay the hell out of those spots! If bots are getting banned shouting in town......don't shout in town! I'm just thinking, if you don't want to get burned, don't play too close to the fire!
And lastly, if you do receive a ban "accidentally" or "wrongly", and you really want to try to contest it or get it overturned....like it's been mentioned before somewhere in the forums, DON'T come here and cause a scene. Don't tell everyone about your "screw over". Nobody cares. Nobody will sympathize with you. If GM's happen to see it, they'll be scared to publicly help you as it will tarnish their reputation. Submit your ticket. Be polite. Be factual. Be patient. And **** and stay away from the forum.
