I think I am missing something here, if someone can help me understand please help.

These are the stats for Hunter Talisman:

Received P. Critical Damage - 15%

These are the stats for Abundance Lv1:

Max HP/MP/CP + 510
P. Def. + 971
M. Def. + 552
P. Evasion/M. Evasion + 7
Attribute Resistance + 15

PVP Damage - 15%
Active skill that gives: 15% patck, 15% skill power, 15% crit rate for 1 minute every 10 minutes


When you "upgrade" from Hunters this is what you earn:
Max HP/MP/CP + 510
P. Def. + 971
M. Def. + 552
Active skill that gives: 15% patck, 15% skill power, 15% crit rate for 1 minute every 10 minutes

And this is what you lose:
P. Atk. + 231
M. Atk. + 271

From a survival stand point, say against a Feoh. Is the 552 MDef + CP/HP gain preferable to Received Skill Damage in PvP - 15% ?

From attack point of view I am so positive the 13% passive is so much better than 15% for 1 minute. But Is the 15% patk + 15% skill power good enough to spent the money upgrading ? (Also considering Hunter users neglect that 15% skill power passively).


Or is there something I am missing ?

Since i see many ppl complaining about the game and how its pay to win, im one more here here just to send more suggestions to you guys.

first thing the game its not rlly fun is the fact its more like a casino than a mmo, the shop offers boxes with radom rewards essencial tho the game, the site has a spin whell where many prises( even its not so easy to get) are boss jewells, frustating ppl who spend you time doing the raid, rlly some rare items like these cant be negociable trought real money, its kills the reason to do a raid and put's the free to play experience in doubt.

more than that for any new player who enters l2has the felling its he is rushing trought the early lvls to a stagnation near 95.Experience a point of view of a starter player im rlly fell not taking the full cotent of the game
bcuse the early lvls are to rush and boring, why not implement story line quests that involves a group istances on early lvls to give ppl an idea how it's works on l2, why not instigate ppl to grind some stuff on ealry lvls too, like i said before make some quests to rewards with medals so ppl could get the armor he want at least until 85, or make istance who drops them, it will gatter more ppl thogeter making the leveling process until 85 more enjoyble,and its not a lack of experience, bcuse i played Aion tho reach near end content in a have a felling there that i was progessing, become better, make my experience there more funny.

and the final and third content is that a cash shop in a free game has a prupose to optmize the game for any ppl willing to pay it, but what it's seen is a complete dependence of the shop, make rlly dificulty(almost impossible) to a free player to compete with ppl who pay for it.Again for example, i dont see any boss jewel or rare item on sale in Aion, the only thing i saw are items that makes enchant process esier and boosts, but nothing essentail that afect the game progession for any free player. So its trully free you sell for new ppl is more a delusion of new players that may get frustated with the game the may actualy see.

Questions about Talisman Abundance Hunter

hi, about this talisman during pvp when i do 1frag a buff hunter talisman appear in my buff bar, this buff give same things than the talisman but with low power.(1% at lvl1). However each time i kill ppl, the buff grow up, at lvl5 it give 7% to stats ( instead of 15% in description). so iam confused about the effect of talisman, in my mind the effect is apply when wearring this talisman and confirmed by passiv item skill, but the buff from killing ppl is added to the effect of talisman or the talisman do effect only when you kill ppl?????

No point deleting Bot is collecting items, adena down or evolving, if not also the Olympics remember, players want to be strong, you want to go to the Olympics and have a cool game. Even a person who is well equipped, even playing in her hand, she would be all right to fight against another player, because the other player is better than her, not always the level of equipment will help, at least this is my vision. NCsoft West didn't realize it only hurts her image.

New fated suport box/ steel door system

Hello, so i stoped for a time and see this new fated suport box given to the player trought levels and it useless .If we se it more clearly we have a box that give a steel item that can be easlyy be get with the coins you recive from kekropus quest with any time limit, so it's have no real relevance open the box.Second point is why you don't put that fated suport box aside and convert the steel door coin system like the medal system the company have in Aion.Let me explain, if a player reach lvl 40 isntead recive a fated suport box he recive a amount of adena to spent on a regular c grade stuff.Now trought 52 until 85 he could get the gears trading medals for the desired armor he wants to aquire during his progession.
you alredy have a very nice system like this implemented in Aion and that won't be that hard( i think) to implement on l2.For me it's alrdy frustating recive a armor for a limited time period, but its rlly a punch in the face to recive a limited version of that item who you can aquire trought quest with the same time validation.So its just a sugestion but if ppl would have a chance to get the items they like would make the low lvl porgression less boring since the quests would have more relevance, giving him a goal to reach.

What's Fair Price for Shadow Ingot?

Dang...I just blew 15 billion to make 1 x LvL5 Diamond...
some 600 x LvL 1 Diamond I invested...and got 1 x LvL 4 left...ah well...

Anyways..
After the 11th anniversary event,
I got left with like 100+ shadow weapons and 500+ shadow enchant scrolls...

I could've sold them all to make some Adena, but I was curious about
shadow +10 weapon, so I thought I should go for it.


Well, I went for it all the way.

I enchanted all my shadow weapons and got like 10 x + 7 but I kept on
enchanting...Only 1 made it to +10.
+10 shadow slasher I got
800 damage, 15% increased attack speed, +100 critical.

I just learned that if I have 10 x shadow ingots, I can make it enhanced
even further with 875 damage, +10% NPC damage, + 7% damage increase.
(R99 Blessed Slasher has 800 damage)

The problem is 1 x shadow ingot is going for 500-600 Mil at Auction
House in my server, Chronos at the moment.

What is good price for shaodw ingots, guys?

I know shadow ingots you can only get from the new Gludio Instance
(a Level 99 requirement, but Level 100 hunting instance really...)
I heard it's so hard for LvL 99s to clear it.

but you can do the instance like 3 times a week
so...you can get 3 x shadow ingots a week if you are lucky....

;and I don't think there are many +10 shadow weapons out there...
Enchant failure rate is much higher for shadow weapons than
regular weapons...

but shadow ingots, people will be getting more and more...
more and more people hitting level 100 as time passes by...

Anyways, if I want to make the enhanced shadow slasher now,

Returning player, seeking clan (primarily PvE)

Hello everyone,

So, as the subject says, I'm a returning player to L2, and am looking to join a clan whose focus is primarily on PvE - though PvP during sieges, or "when necessary" is okay.

I'm especially interested in small, but active and social clans, even those who are still working on their clan level. I'm not interested in huge clans or alliances. I find smaller groups to be more "tight-knit", like a small neighborhood where everyone knows each other, etc. That tends to get lost when a group gets really large.

I'm a laid back player whose days of "hardcore go-go-go" style progression are behind them. I'm more about relaxing, chatting and having fun these days. I suppose you could call me a "hardcore casual"? I'm as happy going out and spending a few hours leveling (my main, sub, alt, etc) as I am to be helping another player achieve a goal of theirs, etc. As long as you're active, social and friendly (no condescending attitudes or egos, or unneeded drama please), then you have my interest.

I'm not one to "clan hop", and so I'm looking for somewhere I can settle down for the long-term.

My main is a 86 Spectral Dancer, with a 58 Tyrant sub. Then I have a smattering of alts, including an archer, and a Spellhowler (which I'll get around to leveling one of these days).

I live in EST and am online weeknights, and weekends.

Hi Could u please take a look on the problem of runes that dissapear/dont give u effect sometimes?
To explain it a bit better when u log in u have to double check ur char to see if runes working correctly,cuz they dont appear on ur passive nor give u any bonus on pve/or even evas runes. Thx in advance.

Ok I wish there was a way to preview the stats when applying AP points. It would be a lot easier to see. I reset all my skills and was trying to figure a better route without committing to it. Yes doing the math would work, but if it could be done in game would be better.

The previous 11th Anniversary event, I had to buy the 11th coins
($600 USD I spent) and played the game for 5 days....
OMG....5 days = enough time to make a new Level 85 Character.

For this Abundance Talisman promo I've spent the 24,000 Ncoins
and here is the result.

I got 8 x Abundance

+ 5 x minor Abundance(which I made 1 x Conquerer)

and finally get them in game...we get that Great sense of achievement;

people who get them finally after long hard work, out-shines the others.

Sadly...Store Promos like this kills that sense of achievement.
Any newbie(such as myself) can just pay money to get whatever
available in Game...

I just hope NC alternates events...

So at least, there will be balance...

What the heck adena?-quick question about adena

Hey guys
Im lvl 73 dark elf spellhowler and i've been wondering where the hell do people get enormous amounts of adena.
Like i've seen people selling some items for 300 billion adena(not million but billion).I barely have 700 000(i had 3 million but i had to spend a lot on spiritshots).Are there some quests that reward you with that much adena?
And one more Q.I've also seen some players selling 1 wooden arrow for 999 999 thousand adena,Who is gonna pay that much for 1 wooden arrow?
So please if anyone knows where people get huge amounts of adena explain it to me.The most adena i've ever had was around 4 and a half mil.
The cheapest weapon in auction house is like 60 mil.

Talismans and/or Brooch jewellery getting unwieldy unequipped

For a few weeks now when I AoE in EV, I'm often getting either my Talismans or Brooch jewellery unequipped suddenly. The bracelet and Brooch are not affected and remain equipped.

At first I thought it's some live GM check, but it happened way to often and virtually every time I xp there.
I'm switching between pole, conversion wpn and fists. I don't even open my inventory at all.

Share your experiences with that if you have such and if there is any possible solution.

Gameguard Error 380 - 610

Hello,

I've searched everywhere and find that most of the threads are from about 2012. I haven't played in over a year, did a clean install everything updates when I go to open the client it gets to a login screen with gameguard error 380 and an "internet explorer" page pops up saying turn of firewalls/proxy servers. Tried that, no mod on my hosts file, flushed dns ect. ect. *these are all ""solutions"" I've tried from other places, but still unable to get past login screen. also if I sit there too long with it the error changes to 610. Any suggestions?

Problems with switching between main/dual/subs

So here goes:

I'm having difficult switching back and forth between my main/dual/subs.

I am on my dualclass and have 98/146 inventory slots and 31.43% weight and cannot switch to my main class

Had to get down to 92/146 to change.

My main has 146 slots as well.

When I inquired about this issue I was given two options:

The options available are.
1.) Temporarily store some items in their warehouse to meet requirements (emptying out your inventory is recommended)
2.) Increase inventory slot of the target class.

However, there seems to be an issue where an increase in the inventory size of your characters does not change the item total needed to switch to that class.

For example;

human yul sagi 99 with 182 inventory slots required 96 to change
human yul sagi 99 with 146 inventory slots required 96 to change


How come the option of increasing inventory slot of the target class does NOT increase the items that can be held while switching to that class?

The rules afaik are 80%. It seems to be calculate this solely off the base slots, without including any increases from skills or belts.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Ive submitted a ticket 6 days ago as to why cant I Apply code to my prestige pack in my master account and havnt received any response.. This is redic.. Im paying for a service I cant claim ?!? I click the apply code button and nothing happens... WTH.... Anyone else having this problem ?!?

New Acc Management Page Issues

I see there has been recent upgrading in the Account Management System, that's a good thing, but I have been encountering these issues :-

1. Billing Info Edit - The fields State/Region & Country are *required*, but when you try to access the pull-down menu, nothing shows up. It's just blank. So you may never successfully edit this field & leave the window.

2. Billing Info Edit - The field Phone Number/Info is now *required* ... previously you could just enter 'N/A.' and the system would accept it. What if you are not a US resident and/or do not possess an American phone number, or do not own a cell phone in your country? This info is now *required*, so you may never successfully edit this field & leave the window.

3. Cannot Change Password - 1. You enter your old password, 2. enter your new password, and 3. confirm on your new password, and then 4. Click on 'OK' button, but the 'OK' button is unresponsive. Doesn't save the process, doesn't do anything. Please check this, i can't change my password.

For 1 & 2 above, you better check it out ASAP as presently, during the NCoin purchase process, you invariably have to pass the Billing Info Edit page, and ppl who can't update the page successfully cannot proceed to make their purchases. Players DON'T have a choice, whether you want to edit your old billing info or not the Billing Info Edit page comes up during the purchase process.

hello why this post and only to say the contempt and sadness that I and several other players feel the ncsoft because only faserem events which benefit only those who have credit card or to be rich to buy adena or even until those who use bot ... in my case'm not any of those because I am the father of family and play l2 11 years and only play for like this game live in Brazil and I have a popular base salary that's not even to pay household bills .. I was happy to know the first dragon of the event that was free for all players and soon after I was already sad because in the next and everyone who came forward only paid .. the l2 of ***** offers free events which are possible even conquer all free until the ruby ​​jewels , saphire, topaz, etc ... brooch alert by mammon has an ant bot .. system that only ncsoft and so? sinseramente preferred when l2 was paid every month, had less bot and had a more active staff and free events ..

olá o motivo deste post e unicamente para dizer o desprezo e a tristeza que eu e varios outros jogadores sentem pela ncsoft pelo fato de somente faserem eventos que beneficiam somente quem tem cartao de credito ou que seja rico para comprar adena ou mesmo ate quem use bot ... no meu caso nao sou nenhum desses pois sou pai de familia e jogo l2 11 anos e somente jogo por gostar deste jogo moro no brasil e tenho um salario base popular que nao da nem pra pagar contas de casa.. fiquei feliz em saber do primeiro evento do dragao que foi gratis para todos os jogadores e logo depois ja fiquei triste pois nos proximo e todos que vieram em diante somente pagos .. o l2 da ***** oferece eventos free onde sao possiveis conquistar tudo free ate mesmo as joias ruby,saphire,topaz,etc... broch atravez do mammon tem um sistema ant bot .. por que somente a ncsoft e assim ? sinseramente preferia quando l2 era pago todo mes, tinha menos bot e tinha uma staff mais ativa e eventos gratis..

querem minha opniao ? façao uma enquete sobre os eventos e terao a resposta que todos querem eventos gratis pois assim como eu existe varios jogadores que nao tem condicoes de participar de um evento pago.. deixem a ganancia de lado e a ambicao por dinheiro tomem vergonha na cara e façao algo decente.

Turning a normal weapon into a Blessed one through Blacksmith of Mammon

Hi,
I want to clarify this before i make a wrong move..
I want to turn my R grade weapon into a Blessed one through the option that BS of Mammon gives..
The question is :

Will my weapon keep its Elemental attribute AND its Emerald weapon Appearence ?:confused: In game it is clear that it will keep the enchantment and the 2 SA's but it is not clear for Augment, Elemental Attribute and Appearence...

Is this for real? The time is counting to the end of Server sad.

I know that many will read this and think it's silly, but unfortunately is what will happen in time with this server. Everyone knows here that Lineage 2 is a game already "outdated" in terms of graphical engine, gameplay. But i like this game! Is that why im so sad with this.

I know that administrators try to keep the pace of the game, but I see that in recent months it are missing ugly in the strategy to keep the game active.

Instead of focusing on creating new, more attractive environments for all level players, new monsters. Drop rate may improve some areas 95+ or 97+ to be the player himself correctly farm can acquire their items over the years (that already exists in some servers lineage 2). Today Drops are so low! Rb93-97 drops nothing! Epic Rbs have a low rate drops, Istina drops only low things, Octavis all time rune stone and 1 bewr or bear... Balok rune stone, bewr or bear almost all time... Tauti something but still low (not all players can do tauti). Well some players (or better few ones) will say... u need to do Lindvior, or another "top" RB... then i say... ok if i can go alright.. but i say for all other of the server that cant go to this kind of RB, only the "top" clans of server make it (or as i say... the few group of server). Dont exist a farm area that drops something good (even in low rate). At least create new events but are available to improve the players (without charge money for this).

.... But not what they are doing? Are every 2-4 weeks are creating a new event just that costs real money, so players are required to purchase the ncoins because they do not do this are becoming increasingly weak before other players to acquire them. Ie if you do not have conditions to afford these events every month you will becoming further and weaker in relation to the other players. Does this sound fair and honest game? or it looks more a machine to suck money?

I think it was better when the game was paid monthly, and this of course they loved the option to open the game for free, so now they can "push" events and more events and end up profiting most from it.

When there is no event, invent a new class that stands out the old (OP) there a large majority begins to create this new class and then comes new "investments" and then have to buy new items, new talismans etc .. and guess where they take the money? Through the Ncoins, and items of l2 store.
But the news is: The GMs are destroying the server this (is not the first time I see a server "die" doing the same thing). With this avalanche of events, the only thing that happens is that most players give up to play, or is super far in equipment compared to players "tops" or we can say more favored or even can even say "rich".

It turns out that in a few years are only playing the minority (2-3 clans) players "richer" they will stop playing because there will not be any more grace because it will reach a point that only have them on the server and same level ... that is going to leave for another game.

So if you guys want the server to continue , diminish this bunch of new items of event that " enable " more and more players ( create new entertainment for all levels without getting Ncoins charging all the time ) and wait at least a 1-2 years before launching a new chronic and change all items , classes, sets, skills .

On website it says you are required to have a recipe and one of each talismans, but in reality you need the previous lvl talisman to be able to craft it.

This suggestion will be hard to make it, but i think its worth to do it, it make better game play.

Not sure the current level limit, i hope i know the right 1

White:-2 +2 ("5 lvl" diff)
Yellow:-5 -3 | Green:+3 +5 ("11 lvl" diff)
Light red:-8 -6 | Light blue:+6 +8 ("17lv" Diff)
Red:-9 | Blue:+9

this old limit need to change it.

My suggestion is, why have 4 phase. better if removing light red and light blue in system and blue and red start at +-6

White -2 +2 ("5 lvl" diff) (No penalty)
Yelow -3 -5 | Green +3 +5 ("11 lvl" diff in pt penalty -50%) and yellow and Green mob give -50% exp
Red -6 | Blue +6 (Penalty -100%)

In Raid Boss, if Blue or Red activate Skill the character gain rb curse for 3 min "Petrify", and remove skill curse for 1 hour, if any type of skill used, gain only petrify curse, no point for this 1 hour curse, if character gain it, he cant do anything, he cant event use soe, 3 or max 5 min petrify curse will be ok.

Reason:99 lvl character can kill 92 rb atm and white lvl character cant fight this, need to force high lvl to kill yellow and white rb only.

A minor inconvinience. In some instance not all but octa baloc istina i noticed that Last attack activetes when killing rb even if it has a lot more then 10%hp sometimes it diactivates and activetes many times during instance... this shold not be in kartia however its fine. i hope i got someones attention on this. p.s. in oly sometis i cant find my name in list even if i update many times and i heard im not the only one.

It has many players angry about this and if it continues this way is better you release the use of bots, because you do not have control over that.
Already tired of report players who use bots to PVP and the answer I get is just "ok let's checker your denounces" those player and it is to this day, take pvp taking cafe and watching the char kill other characters ... That's ridiculous, wake up NCSOFT you are ending the Lineage 2!

Hi all, consider this as a rage or QQ post if this can make you laugh, don't really care actually.

I just come to you today because i re-joined offi recently and i went for an othell main wich a absolutely love now (currently lvl 90) However, there's just one thing wich stick my mind and cause me trouble is pvp vs sayha seer ... this **** just hide 10 times more than me hit me for 15 / 20 k damage and disapear before the damage of my bloodstab start to be taking in consideration.

I know i'm far to be the best othell ever, don't even think i can yet consider myself as a good one but as i really didnt find any solution in this particular matchup i was wondering if any of you could share you'r science. I guess i could find smthg creating one myself and looking closely at the CD of everything ect but as i'm sure some people of this forum already played both class. I would be interested to know you'r advice.

Possible bug with karma system

I was xping away at Faeries, when some guy decided to flag on me, then asked me to leave the spot. I refused to, and his friend PKed me. The person turned dark red as a result.

I returned and started to fight the red, first of all I'm not sure how he managed to survive about 100k damage on him (he may be very high level, I'm not sure) without cp potions (no animation) and no heals, and no heal potions (no animation again), he was an othell. Then while trying to kill him, he *suddenly* turned white.... and I ended up flagging. He did not die, nor did I see a resurrection animation (which would mean he died and got ressed and stood up)

Is there a way to do this legitimately? If so... please let me know <_<

PvP system.

When I started to play Lineage2 many years ago in L2j servers I was completely in love with that game. Why? Because of PvP and because I was newbie and everything was intresting. When time passed I got experience, had played with all characters, I knew all skills, had so many PvP thats why nothing surprised me anymore. Game became so pathetic... I still loved fighting, but I was missing something. Boredom drived my insane. Then I started to look for low rate servers, I was missing that farming, when you need to reach something, to improve your self. Found alot of them but "wipe" after "wipe" made me feel insecure. That's why I'm happy to play here. But I realise that here I lost that fun PvP fights like before I had. I see only cowards here is playing, I can't even say playing... because they are just grinding their items and levels. They are more likely working than playing. What I want to say? People are scared to lose their experience after death, and that's in their blood now. Even on "No exp lose after death" event I can feel that fear. Sometimes I don't even know where is bot where is playing man. I even invited some friends to this game but they left pretty soon with only few words - "It's too boring" - didin't had chance to see the fun part. Thats why I offer you to make that event "No exp loss" permaint part of the game to make people enjoy this game again. I estimate this game as PvP/Farming game, but a lot of people forget or don't even know first part. So don't let new players leave the game too soon or grow up like farming robots, don't let the fans of this game still sink in ocean of tears of ******* fear they feel. Make this game more alive in all levels, then more people may join, more money you will make, isn't that you're up to?

Last night I had a dream;
and in my dream, I saw a perfect Lineage2.

Everywhere I went, Adena drop was increase 5-10 times,
Bounty hunters spoiling happily here and there, Warsmiths making shots
and gears to sell them.

And there were no more bots, cuz the adena drop and item drop rate
was so good that people didn't have the need to bot or buy adena
from Adena sellers.

To make sure, NC placed EAoeM-000 Everywhere making Botting impossible.

EDAoePM-000 = Elite Deadly AOE(takes 5 sec to cast but does 1 million AOE Damage) Passive(doesn't attack first) Mob
with 0 Exp 0 Sp 0 Adena 0 Drop.
-Basically players have no reason to attack this mob but there are there
to stop the bots. When A-Bot-train auto attacks it, it's gonna take them 1 hr to kill it and it drops nothing, but casts 1 million damage AOE.
they have 5 sec to get away from the Mob but if they stay, they all die.

Element of Gambling were removed from N-Store.
There was a massive Online-Gambling-investigation by the US Justice
Department (initiated by...LOL guess who!) NC finally learned its lesson.
Instead, Chance based events became available for everyone in the game
for FREE. For every 10 level, players got 1% bonus chance of event item
drop-rate increase, but for awakened class, they had 1% bonus drop-rate
for every 1 level.
so for level 85 character, he had 8% chance of getting event items from
killing mobs and LvL 95 had 18% of getting event items.
All this for Free.

All the N-store items that were available only at N-store became
available not just in the store, but in the world of L2 with good Drop-Rate.
N-store had vitality + cosmetics items, and they still sold gears
but element of randomness was removed(No Online Gambling LAW)
instead players paid directly for the items s/he wanted.
N-store item prices got higher but at least people who paid knew
they wouldn't blow away their money, but got exactly what they paid for..
so those who paid a lot, still paid a lot.

Hero Coins became account bound and stayed with the account
and sharable within all the toons in that account.

Leveling became so hard for high level players though...

But NC sold One Godly Rune, G-Rune for 5,000 N-coins(500% Exp 1-100+
500% Drop Rate, +20% damage, +20% increased HP,CP, +100 Attribute, +1000 p.Def, +1000 M.def), basically a must rune for End-game players
for leveling, Raid, PvP.

People who didn't have the access to Credit Cards or simply too poor
to play this game were still welcome to play Lineage2 for they could
still buy the G-Rune from other players with the Adena and item drops
s/he got buy playing more hours.
Those who paid a lot, paid extra to help the poor(poor but with a lot of
play times) getting Hero coins in the process.
NC had no complaints about gifting G-Rune system cuz for them,
as long as they sold More G-Runes, it didn't matter who paid for them.

Then the Majoy Expansion came....

It looked as if all the End game gears were gonna be Trash...
But NC hired a mathematician To review the Value of High enchant R99
gears for fair pricing and made NPC in town buy them with good price.
10% extra actually so people would welcome the new Expansion
gears. NC also Increased the MAX ADENA per character by 1 digit.
Max Adena players could carry became 1 Trillion adena.

It didn't matter for NC. Unlike Real Casino, They lost nothing when plars
won...
when more adena or item dropped...
They were all vitual items which cost NC nothing to make...

As Long As players were happy, They Stayed, played...and Paid.

many topics about pay-to-lose money and Not pay-to-win

armor and weapon that we worked hard for this and had the
Unique Time after all to be competitive and no-Handless
our hands and mind was on nice pressure and that was priceless

later with some helps (you know what i mean) things were easier but
competition still there
and on very end we have the NC coins...game died

Keep those "victims" of you on fire, they will never reallise that there is
NO top level ever , if you earn a +8 pvp armor...someone else will have soon
a +9 or more , pay and pay and pay and never stop this until realise that
this game that one day was making us happy , now it is destroying our personal fortune

so for open minded people change game
for blind people continue to sustain in life this unfair company

With the new forum log-in the security notification process was changed and now some people get this mail ~25 minutes after they try to validate their account, with a security code that's only valid for 10 minutes. In other words, those people can't post on the official forum or use the customer support. And they also can't buy NCoins anymore:

The latter aspect should motivate the staff to rethink their security notification process. I understand that you want people to keep an active email where they can be contacted and which can be used for verification purposes in case of things happening to the account. But for the past 11 years things also worked fine without that verification, and if you feel that you absolutely need that complication, please extend the validity of the code to 1 hour or something like that. This wouldn't impinge account security and make life easier for many people.

Starting a human prophet a mistake??

Hi all,

It has been a while since I played Lineage 2 and there has been alot of changes in the game.

In the old days you could sell your prophet buffs near grinding area's..... made me alot of money back then ;)

So last week I started playing again, with my prophet, but I noticed that you can get extremely strong buffs (from the newbie guide) untill you reach lvl 91.

So the obvious question now is; Doesn't this make my prophet (lvl 48) completely unecessary?? Or do I miss anyhting?

In my opinion they made this game quite easy to play, buffs, steel door coins, proof of courage vouchers, soulshots at grocery store, etc.... Not to mention the spoil rates I read somewhere....

My wife and I have never played lineage II before but we are excited to start tonight. I heard there was pvp here so thats what we came for. We will be creating characters on Chronos and are looking for all the help we can get as far as learning how to play this new game.

K so i wanted to touch very importiant topic today that i couldint find anyone mention in anywhere ever for the first post i gona give a few example's if i can see that peapole get what i mean i get more in deapth whit it and tell what i happen to know so far so basicly for now lets take

Dark elf - SpellHowler (mage)
And
Elf - SpellSinger (mage)

Lets see the main factory of damage diferences it has apart from skills or more detailed stuff.

So as most of us prob know elfs tend to be faster casting and attacking class right? while dark elfs tend to be more power (dps) focused class whit high dmg but not as fast as elf.

So i made an expiarment whit 40 lv dark elf and normal elf i found out that about the same time elf is capable to do 10 or so attack while dark elf can manage doing it 8 whit same gear and stuff.

I would love if someone ware to do such expirement on max lv even if you only have one class pls post what gear you are ussing and what stats you have and stuff that helps you do that that way we could compare 2 things
And not only that but it seems thats dark elf 8 attacks does about same damage as elf 10 attack does but the target they ware hiting preety much had no M.Def so its not the factor here

What is a factor here and finaly geting close to our main subject is how does m.def and armor scale exactly ? im gona give some examples that most games scale these two things

1. does for EXAMPLE: 1000 magic armor gives me ( lets say) 30 % damage reduction from magic source im not counting in any elemental resistence or anything else just magic armor for now

2. or for EXAMPLE: i have 1000 magic armor and that magic armor counters my opponent damage for EXAMPLE: if i do let say 2001 magic damage does that mean that if my opponent has 1000 magic armor i gona do only 1001 (because magic armor minus my magic damage) OR o lose 30% of my magic power when hiting that opponent so in that case i only do 1401 damage? (30%= 600 (600-2001=1401)).

If any of these dont apply then can someone explain that to me pls im thinking about doing graph about how much m.def % you get at each certain point if the first one is right to begin whit

If the first one is right then its preety much balanced except at certain points one or other class may get ahead of the other

Now if the second is actualy correct one then thats is a realy realy sad news for normal elf and it gets simply crushed by his rival dark elf on terms of posible damage over time and is posible that it can do very litle damage to well geared up tank

The problem with the hero coins is a major issue

This has to change because it is being abused by Adena buyers

Hero coins should not be gifted away when u send someone a gift, the hero coins has to stay on the account of the original buyer to prevent major abuse from Adena buyers.

Now it only looks as if hero coins are a big success, but the truth is that all those people having a lot of hero coins did not spend a single dollar on NC coins, they just ask players to gift them NC coins items and get the hero coins along for FREE !

Stop making the hero coins being given away with the items gifted to other players, they should be happy already they receive a gift.


So all you players that gifted items, u got scammed, u only got paid for the gifted item, u got scammed out of the hero coins that should have been paid extra.

how u can broke more that noble class?

I have among my thousands of complaints one that makes me very difficult trying to not die of courage each will not die when I get my pet damage, then because my pet is still alive? and that is that life is 15% of HP, I mean in a pvp I can hit the enemy and paste and paste and my pet will never die so to have 30k 28k HP + CP and my pet stop taking damage when my CP is burnt and then the illogical comes * my pet dies anymore .... MMO maker NCsoft has initiated another part (the "final phase") of its restructuring plan announced last October by eliminating some internal customer support positions from NCsoft West. Those positions will now be covered by what the company calls an external provider.

NC soft is so untalented in seeing potential in a game that could be so much more then all the JUNK they are making now , that they are literally not just letting bots take over their game and make money on their back, but they also kill their own clients off by letting the bots run loose, idiots that's what they are.

More Adena + item Drop is the Only way.

I hope you guys are having fun playing this game, Lineage2.
After all, we all deserve it.

In my opinion, L2 is the greatest online game ever created,
a true master-piece with its own beautiful artwork and game system,
that I don't think there ever will be a game as great as Lineage2
ever again...

It's so sad that it's a dying game...

But I believe there a way to revive the game to its original glory.

Simply, Increase the Adena drop, or at least Adena reward for quests.

The reason is simple.

If players have enough adena just by playing the game Legit,
then there is no need for botting or buying adena from
Adena web-sites.

Number 1 reason why people leave this game = Botting.

When my main was level 58 and tried to do the level 58 steel door
coin quest at Forsaken Valley, there were Hundreads of bots...in the
questing area...and I mean Hundreds literally....(Chronos 3 months ago);
and what was supposed to be a 10-minute-quest turned into
3 hr quest...(lucky I was wizard so at least I could time for the Last shot
on mobs for quest item, melee classes were simply in the state of given-up...just sitting by the sight...I think a lot of people who were doing
that quest on that day left the game...)

Making Adena is so hard in this game that Some people go and buy
Adena directly from Adena sellers with Real Money...
The problem is...where do you think all those Adena comes from???
The answer is ... BOTS....Lots and Lots of them...
The more Adena people buy, the more bots there will be on that server...

I understand there are bots run by players themselves for adena making...

All of this will not be necessary if Adena drop increases...

What NC soft needs to understand is that..it is NOT few high paying
customers that is the main driving force in this game.
It is the average players who enjoy this game for its own contents
that shape the game and its communities.

I mean who wants to have +8 Bloody set with +16 Bloody weapon
when s/he is the only one in the server?
Does it mean anything anymore?
Without majority of users gone, no1 will be able to sell or trade his gears
and playing the game will simply be meaningless.
An empty server with no1 to party with...with No one to PvP for, either...

Please NC, Increase the Adena drop and give Spoil back to the Dwarves
with its Item making...
Bring the economy back to L2 please, and no more selling them with N-coins and Hero coins at N-store..(they are devastating to L2 economy
and market price...)

For the sake of argument, let me make it clear for you, NC.

In future,
If there is no adena drop, No item Drop, No Exp, No SP from killing
mobs at all, and you make them available only at N-store...
i.e. people Pay the N-store for Exp, Sp and all their gears...
Do you seriously think people will play this game?

Selling Vitality items + cosmetics are ok...I suppose
I, myself have a job and have some money but not enough time to play
L2 anymore...so for me +100% +200% exp runes I like and am willing to
pay...but everything else needs to GO AWAY!

Take Lavienda...LvL 3 Diamond has more Def than R99 heavy armor set...
and you make it only available in N-store only...

L2 is a great game and still has a lot of potential to go on....
Don't kill it pre-maturely please.
Find the way to draw more people to enjoy this game,
and you will have more business in the long run.

Even with a lot of Adena + item Dropping...I think the game is still pretty hard as it takes so long to level up to 99 and beyond...

Do you play match with near pts or still play with ful bots?

Setup for a decent tank in Odyssey

I'm new to the game, so please forgive the noob questions.


I want to play a tank and be the guy that draws fire and holds the mobs attention. I like the look of Kamael, so I want to first level berserker, but I intend to play a tank as my duo class. If you have time, please provide answers and advice, and thank you all in advance.


1. What race/type makes the best tank? Someone in-game suggested the Elf one, but he said that they take a long time to level.


2. After level 85, is it pointless for a tank to do daily quests by himself?


3. Do tanks have a hard time finding groups?


4. Last but not least, another person in game told me Kamael were wrong race to duo class as a tank. Is that true? Should I intend play another race? I like the Kamael looks, but I don't want to be laughed out of group when I tell them I am the tank.
