Perfect Lineage2

Last night I had a dream;
and in my dream, I saw a perfect Lineage2.

Everywhere I went, Adena drop was increase 5-10 times,
Bounty hunters spoiling happily here and there, Warsmiths making shots
and gears to sell them.

And there were no more bots, cuz the adena drop and item drop rate
was so good that people didn't have the need to bot or buy adena
from Adena sellers.

To make sure, NC placed EAoeM-000 Everywhere making Botting impossible.

EDAoePM-000 = Elite Deadly AOE(takes 5 sec to cast but does 1 million AOE Damage) Passive(doesn't attack first) Mob
with 0 Exp 0 Sp 0 Adena 0 Drop.
-Basically players have no reason to attack this mob but there are there
to stop the bots. When A-Bot-train auto attacks it, it's gonna take them 1 hr to kill it and it drops nothing, but casts 1 million damage AOE.
they have 5 sec to get away from the Mob but if they stay, they all die.

Element of Gambling were removed from N-Store.
There was a massive Online-Gambling-investigation by the US Justice
Department (initiated by...LOL guess who!) NC finally learned its lesson.
Instead, Chance based events became available for everyone in the game
for FREE. For every 10 level, players got 1% bonus chance of event item
drop-rate increase, but for awakened class, they had 1% bonus drop-rate
for every 1 level.
so for level 85 character, he had 8% chance of getting event items from
killing mobs and LvL 95 had 18% of getting event items.
All this for Free.

All the N-store items that were available only at N-store became
available not just in the store, but in the world of L2 with good Drop-Rate.
N-store had vitality + cosmetics items, and they still sold gears
but element of randomness was removed(No Online Gambling LAW)
instead players paid directly for the items s/he wanted.
N-store item prices got higher but at least people who paid knew
they wouldn't blow away their money, but got exactly what they paid for..
so those who paid a lot, still paid a lot.

Hero Coins became account bound and stayed with the account
and sharable within all the toons in that account.

Leveling became so hard for high level players though...

But NC sold One Godly Rune, G-Rune for 5,000 N-coins(500% Exp 1-100+
500% Drop Rate, +20% damage, +20% increased HP,CP, +100 Attribute, +1000 p.Def, +1000 M.def), basically a must rune for End-game players
for leveling, Raid, PvP.

People who didn't have the access to Credit Cards or simply too poor
to play this game were still welcome to play Lineage2 for they could
still buy the G-Rune from other players with the Adena and item drops
s/he got buy playing more hours.
Those who paid a lot, paid extra to help the poor(poor but with a lot of
play times) getting Hero coins in the process.
NC had no complaints about gifting G-Rune system cuz for them,
as long as they sold More G-Runes, it didn't matter who paid for them.

Then the Majoy Expansion came....

It looked as if all the End game gears were gonna be Trash...
But NC hired a mathematician To review the Value of High enchant R99
gears for fair pricing and made NPC in town buy them with good price.
10% extra actually so people would welcome the new Expansion
gears. NC also Increased the MAX ADENA per character by 1 digit.
Max Adena players could carry became 1 Trillion adena.

It didn't matter for NC. Unlike Real Casino, They lost nothing when plars
won...
when more adena or item dropped...
They were all vitual items which cost NC nothing to make...

As Long As players were happy, They Stayed, played...and Paid.
