What has changed from C4

Hello, I haven't played for years now and am player from "scions of destiny" era. I wanted to start again but have no idea what has changed. Could somebody explain please? I'm sure a lot has changed.

Also, is it possible to know how many people are playing at some moment? I don't know what rates are either.



Any kind of help much appreciated.
