Could NCSOFT explain why they permit bots to infest the game?

I am sure ncwest is not stupid or naive and that you realize there are hundreds of bot accounts infesting each server.

I am also sure you are aware that reporting these bots as a player is impossible because of the sheer number of bots and the limited number of reports we are granted.

I am also sure you actually do not follow up or investigate the reports anyways.

I am 100% sure of every bot train i see is 100% a bot train breaking the rules some are so blatant as to name each character in the train bot1, bot2, bot3 etc..

So my question is why? Can you be honest to your customers and atleast explain it? I mean clearly everyone who plays this game has come to accept the fact that we have no choice but to co exist with all the hundreds of bots.

so why are the bots allowed to persist? Lack of resources to fight the war? Do they actually play a vital role in the revenue stream in some twisted manor? (aka preal players who bot, use the money the bots earn to then buy nccoin from players who play legit and have means To earn adena anymore thus in a way the bots drive the ncoin sales)

Why is there no volunteer GM program to help fight the bots? I love detecting and finding bots. I would love to volunteer with no pay just to spend a few hours every day/week ferreting out the bots to ban them.

So again I ask why are the bots allowed to persist? we all know that you know they are there and that you do nothing to to stop them, we accept it even though it is frustrating and we hate it.
