Too many severs

So what i see from some severs is they are pretty empty in relation of 1-2 year ago, so why not merge some of then so it may gain a litte more Dynamic.I understand that implies in many things like the owners of castles and clan hall and these stuffs,the action house,etc.But with less severs maybe the iteraction may grow in the new ones. Its just an view of a player, maybe other ppl with expierience may talk better about this question.
