Hi, I'm curious about economy changes in Ertheia.

I'm from EU server - Core. Would be nice to prepare for upcoming update, and find out everything about any noticeable item price increase/decrease after update ;)

For example unbind scrolls no longer dropped by raid boss, how is their price in your NA servers after Erheia update? Increased by a lot? Or maybe no increased at all?

How about other items?

Delete healer class!

Healers are almost unuseful in Dimensional barrier. Healers are almost unuseful for Baylor, Kartia95....So delete this class and give chance to healers to reroll pls. Enchanters are doing our job for healing! Most of healers don't have chance to make quests in Dimensional barrier, as I understood tanks also! I am wondering why you make new areas only for DDs and ISS? I am not QQing for my char, cause I have almost all AP, I am QQing for healer class at all!

I always try to find out what is going on with the automated player community and to see if NCsoft is having any impact on them. Today I was reading on one of their forums how some of them have been "scammed" out of their "hard earned" adena and items. These roaches of the servers are whining how they were wronged. They are on this game ruining spots for real players and get mad when they lose a few billion adena, LOL. No it wasn't me that did it, but I do think it is funny how they gripe about internet fees, new PCs to run their "operations", all their hard work gone due to a scammer! Guess what, real players spend money on internet fees and new PCs to actually play this game! I don't condone any type of scam, but in this case it was at least directed towards the right people! Not going to post the forum names but most folks already know where to go if looking for a good laugh or two!

I love game itself, every and each character, their each skill, their firm stance- not fluid as other MMO has which I don't like, unique armors and weapons which look amazing and powerful and I like PVP and PVE style of this game, I am really big fan of Lineage 2, when I play other games always compare with L2 which was only Aion, GW2 and ArcheAge(I start to like it), haven't tried many :)) what i am asking maybe someone found the same good game related to PVP? Drop rate runes from Prestige packs not working properly

Hello,



I have done extensive testing over the last month and I have confirmed that the drop rate runes from the prestige packs are not working as intended.



In a 7 man party with 7 prestige packs the overall increase of dropped items and adena over time does not exceed 25%.



The test was done 20 times, 6 hours of hunting each time in the same area (hellfire) on the very same spot with the same party setup. Ten tests with drop rate runes and 10 tests without.



The results were consistent and predictable.



I believe this happened with the latest update.

Are Necromancers Worth It?

I have recently leveled a wizard and I'm about to hit the second class transfer, and I basically would like to know whether I should go with a Necromancer or a Sorceror. I used to play a Sorceror years back and wanted to play it again, but I remembered the usual spells and found it to be quite repetitive to me now.



I'd like to know if anyone can tell me what the Necromancer is like when it comes to damage and nuking these days compared to Sorceror? I also play Lineage by myself virtually all of the time, so I would be a solo PVE player.

Ok so, after years at all random L2 Private communities i decided to try L2 Official, and let me tell you, even though i played only for like few days, i really enjoyed it, cuz it's way better then back in 2006 or smthn, since you had to do much more then what i've done to reach b grade... Does this skill has a critical as it's written on description or not?

I tested many times on mobs and got no crit (just damage was betwen 10-20k - no "landed a critical hit" text) while other skills like mass crippling was criting.

Hello guys,



My questions is very simple:



There is any way to access to Advances Preferences in Lineage II ?



I want to access to this part because I want to enable things like mouse smoothing/mouse filter, some graphics tweaks, etc.



I know that Lineage II uses an Unreal Engine like Unreal Tournament, or Unreal 1 or Unreal Return to NaPali.



So, always in the Unreal 1.x engines have a console or the possibility to access to the aadvances preferences.



However, if the developers are hardcoded restric to the advances preferences, there is a way to apply mouse filter?



The mouse movement are terrible jerky and the graphics are terrible bad optimizing, so I want to customize some advanced things in the opengl render or direct3d render of Lineage II.



The last thing: I've a powerful computer:

-AMD X4 Phenom II BE

-AMD HD 7950

-8GB RAM Corsair Vengeance

-10MB ISP Provider with a very good latency (about of 20ms to 40ms latency with any game internet like LOL, Smite, QUake Live, etc)

Hello, i was playing fine, then restarted my computer and now i cant log in. The problem is, when i Put my account name and pass then click "Log In" the cliient close and i go back to Desktop (No Critical, No Error, Nothing) Just close and to Desktop. This also happens when in Log In Screen i try to change the resolution or the graphics quality of the game. I would like to say some thiings, what i did to solve the problem:



• Restarted my computer.

• Restarted My Modem.

• Deleted "System" Folder and did a File Repair.

• Uninstalled Launcher, Downloaded it again and Reinstalled it.

• Unistalled Lineage II Game, Downloaded it again By Launcher and Reinstalled it.



I dont know what else to do I dont use AntiVirus, i dont Use other programs like bot or something like that. Please help.

Im leveling up a Bounty Hunter,hopefully in a few time i awaken. So i need to know pros and conts of that class. Is a good class between other daggers???? I noticed that it does (the not awaken char,Bounty Hunter) lower damage compared to other daggers. Or is just my impresion,but i want to know good and bad points of Other Fortune Seeker. Damage compared to other daggers,HP,the Plunder skill that i dont know how works... For an example,if i go to kartia 85 and i use Plunder on Zeliaka,i obtain a good item???? And in PVP???? If i use Plunder i stole items of the other player???? Its a thoughts think by me,maybe im wrong.

i'm a Tyrr Dread and i'm trying to understand why on my server(Chronos) i seen only 2 other since i'm back to the game.

I hit mobs in area, have 2 skills more than other Tyrr that causes stun etc.



Tyrr Dread is that bad on pvp? When i try to fight some ppl in Olly i can win some fights.

Whats the problem with the class?

I have noticed that the chance of enchanting armors have been lowered. Used them when they were released first time and I only had one fail. Now I used it...It fails A LOT.



Any experience with this? I really think the 30% chance don't work as compared to it was before..And NC pls fix this.

Fated Support Box Issue

I'm an old L2 player who recently returned to the game. I made a new account and as a new player I got the fated support box. Yesterday I got to lvl 52 and opened the Fated Support Box for B grade equipment. My character is a fighter ( Temple Knight ), yet the weapons I got were Sword of Valhalla and Spell Breaker, which are the one level below top B grade mage weapons.



Has anyone else had a similar issue with teh Fated Support Box (at any level, not just B grade) and if so - to whom need I to report this possible bug?

In the previous topic, I gave nick bot MuxaUA server Naia, which I see every day for two months that I'm here, and I use button botreport every day. This bot is still not banned. BotReport button does not work. Why ???

Naia server is unplayable. Bots Bots ... everywhere! Bots on all spot on quests to lvl 85. Bots in Harnack,Nornil, Garden of Genesis. Bots farm Zaken, Freya, kartias. Bots do 10 fights on Oly for GE, and they are not just standing, they kill their opponents!

On the official forum many reports of bots, but you do absolutely nothing!

In addition, almost all on the server using third-party programs. Last time at the Oly everyone opponents have seen me through hide!

From my previous threads I understand players' opinions on the subject, here I want to see only the responses from officials NCsoft. Why server does not have GMs and bothunters. why on server there is absolutely no protection, such as in the Innova system Frost protection. Why BotReport button does not work ???

Overlord leveling 67+

Hello,



i got my OL to 76 and after i ran out of Vitality leveling slowed down alot...



I did both quests in FOD and SOS, but the mobs there only give around 0.22% each. And the places are cramped.



Is there any other place that a OL can level quicker? Killing mob by mob due to no AOE is taking too long i think.



I also have a 85 Wynn Summoner (other account), is there a way to powerlevel my OL with the Summoner (Mentor)

Regarding Reducing Gaming Latency

Recently I sent a ticket via support in-game about the title above, specifically regarding whether there is the possibility of a player being banned or not using such programs.



And I had the answer and here I post an excerpt: "Officially, there are no proxies or VPN's that are supported by Lineage II but you are able to use them if you so wish We are not going to outright ban your account simply for using these services. However, please do understand these services share addresses IP. so while it's very rare, it is technically possible for someone to have an IP of something que violates the EULA and Terms of Service Agreements, so we would have to ban the account. Once banned, IP is now free to be assigned again, which could then be assigned to you and since it would show you the que have the same IP the offending player, It could be possible for your account to be mistakenly subject to those actions ".



Since it is a recurring players use something like 50% of players in normal situations of gameplay and 90% of players uses in situations of siege and mass PvP, and since I never read or heard such player being banned for such use of programs that decrease ping in the game itself, I would like to know in what situations (hypothetical or not), which could lead such player to be banned for inappropriate use?

Bots population, I'm an old player thinking to come back...

So, as the people say and as I can see here at Forums, we have A LOT of threads talking about Bots ...



I was thinking about to come back, grab my old Domi, joining a nice social guild, and start leveling the domi again.



The problem is, does L2 still have a high crowd of Bots everywhere in every server that you cant even do quests and can farm "pvp" points in bots?

Come on i have read in another thread that some places are actual good to farm pvp in bots...how stupid is this?

Apparently we are just a group of friends and currently in Korean Friends clan and do not have enough numbers to do some major raids so we are thinking to merge into a clan who auction drops.



I don't care if it is PVP or PVE clan - who cares about PVP these days while there are no where to find wartags in open field :p

Incorrect EXP

Since the update I'm not getting the correct amount of exp. Either my bonus exp from my rune isn't applying (30 day 100% bonus) or the vitality isn't applying because I'm only getting 100% exp. Is this happening to anyone else?

Looking for info on what decent clans there are on Chronos now. I have some ideas on who I'd like to apply for, but can't chat to anyone ingame at the moment (downtime).



I got back to the game 2 weeks ago after 2 years, read up on the patch notes. I got myself some robes instead of the old trusty heavy and done a few random parties to remember what's what, now looking at getting a clan.



I've been in pretty hardcore pvp clans since forever and want to get back into pvp, but I'm well aware that ain't happening until I'm 99/90+ with eternal gear.

High XP AOE parties and raids I can help out in and get 99: I'm happy to buy runes and have an old XP bottle agathon so fast xp = more xp scrolls to plvl my 86 wynn sub!



PvP endgame, but able to PvE till 99. I'd rather stay with 1 clan for a while, than be in a PvE only clan and leave due to no sieges/pvp.



Majority English speaking: I don't mind people speaking other languages, but it's nice to join in conversation.



People who know their game and discuss it. Gear, Drops, Tips, Tricks, Xp, Testing stuff.... it's all how people and clans get better.

Im angry and sick about all these bots, they are everywhere.

ATM I'm at den of evil and I can't do my quest becuz of all the bots! yet killed four and there are so many. Like Simos6, Liminy, Silva&, Eined and Taid. If u kill them, well they come back. Please do something, that's not right.:mad:

LUC effect in olympiad

Well, doing some olympiad I noticed that LUC is completely useless and I don't know if it is supposed to work that way.

Taken from ertheia patch notes, just under LUC: "You'll be able to dodge lethal blows when LUC is activated. Basically you have a chance to evade killing blows of any damage inflicted in PvP/PvE. Not related to "Lethal Blow" type attacks"



The thing is, even if that condition is activated and you evade a hit that would kill you, the olympiad system considers you've died anyways and you lose the match wether you're nearly out or full HP. Is LUC supposed to work that way? Or should you survive the hit, like the patch notes say?

Small question about quests.

I didnt checked all but:



Are all green quests in game disabled? Adventure Guide quests, 500-900 mob quests and other daily quests.



Tried on Ketra in 20 min no quest item droped.



Because if so, than i need to prepare for a big grind fest. Have 76 Ertheia and 76 EE and it looks like only way to get them to 81 is grinding in DV if i find place there between army of bots.

In-game scamming now bannable

*reason for the post is because some are saying there was preferential treatment*



This is just a heads up for anyone that has been scammed before or in the future (specifically with the 100% divine enchants). A friend of mine was scammed by a player via divine enchants but luckily had all his items refunded (returned). Scamming is now considered a form of harassment and is a policy in the games User Agreements / Rules of Conduct. Under this policy for a first offence a scammer will get a 72 hour suspension and for a second offence will get a permanent ban and the person that got scammed will receive all of their items that they’ve lost.



Hopefully anyone that’s ever been scammed before can send in a ticket and also get help receiving their lost items, “It is not the intention of players in Lineage II to scam each other”



There was some confusion from players by NCSoft’s stance in the past regarding in-game scams:



“In the case of Lineage II, a scam is a player-made agreement based on good faith but that often leads to the victim losing Adena or items. Because it is a player-made arrangement and the exchange of Adena or items was voluntarily and does not bypass any in-game systems, NCSOFT cannot assume responsibility. For better or worse, players are real people with their own agendas, responsibilities, and opinions. NCSOFT cannot police morals, and as such cannot replace the lost Adena or items, nor action the player that did not keep their promise. ”



Although Lineage 2 staff isn’t specific or clear there is a scam policy in place that protects players from in game scams, I hope I helped out anyone that has got scammed and hope you also get your items back.

By removing that thread with the fake e-mails from NC to that customer if he had not yet read the replies he may still actually think it was NC fishing for 1,000 dollars from him.



Two, it could have served as a warning for others in the future that receive the same false e-mails.



I understand the reposting NC conversations policy, but by removing false ones you actually do a disservice to the community as it could have served as a good warning to future receivers of such a scam.

Hm i was just fixing my skill bars and found one skill I havent seen b4, the name is retreating shot, i change class of yul recently and also got to 12 ap dunno if any of that can be related to the skill, or if i am just blind and never saw it b4.



i am liking the skill and its pretty clear whhat it does, I am just wondering how i got it and why didnt saw it before, also couldnt find info on it, also it says "Requires Abilities" so wonder what it means, all other skills i ve doesnt, what yuls ve it? all of them?, and is somehow related to ap ? :S

no lose xp in cs zone

WHY member of clan who have some of castle's in server when enter in cs zone of another castle (not in his like defender) not lose xp after dead. This not happen before this last update and this is not in update notes as I have read. This is not good for game. Every big clan may jump form castle to caste and no care for xp, not need more to rr game, apire in town and get res. Now just click "to village" and start gang again some random castle owner and not care for lose xp. one WC/wyn near cs zone and constant regrupe all time... Again this is not good for game :(

What is wrong with You NC SOFT ?

Why still do you have closed eyes to bots? The same problem appears on every your server.

Such places as: Bloody Swamplan, Fairy Setllement, Garden of Genesis, Nornil's Garden, Stronghold's near Kamael Village, Guilloutine Fortress and many many more places is full of bots. WHY !!!??? Why cannot honest players relax and calmly spend time with friends in the game ? Totally you are disregarding reports concerning behaviours of this type. For the sake of what ? Money ? Perhaps do you have some earnings from it ? Private servers have better securities than you ! Innova deals with much better than you. So where the problem is ? Are you lazy or indifferent to this problem ? It's about time to change something !

here what i thought about:



1. Single r99 +4 haste 300 for pve+pvp+oly

2. r99 +4 dmg 300 dual for pve and s80 {pvp} for pvp+oly (may with a sigil,saw some use single+sigil,dunno why...)



guess r99 single is good for all (balanced)

but on other side r99 dual in pve and s80(pvp) in pvp work bether in their different situations

How to transfering L2 to laptop?

me and my GF try AOE Pagan Chapel rooms.

so i have now 2 questions about it.



1. How to move Chapel Gatekeeper from their position?

(as we arrived today, the gate keeper was all on floor and in corners. pull with tank, fear?)



2. if she (tyrr) aoe aggro and try pull around a corner (wall between 2 rooms) they return. Any tipp how to make em follow?

I was create a healer 2 years ago and i was del all Pomander, and 1 week later i awaken the class, and realized what i was done, i was come back 2 month ago, and wondering if i get pomanded, i can learn those skills?

I think have 2 way to get those item, by making same sub class healer and lvl it to 76 or pay 10m for reset.



So can learn it in awaken? oh and the healer not re-classed

Hi, i have 3 question about skill of main classes when i use chaos essence to change awakened specialization.



I have a elf dagger, at 85 i would change to dwarf dagger to get plunder and other spoil skills.



Q1) Is it possible do change like this to get my target (and spoil with an elf)?



Q2) I have to spend SP in elf skill or i can keep it for dwarf lvl 85 skill?



Q3) When i change my main class, i keep elf stats?

Immortal Tunic?

Working on my duel class Eva Saint and will be awakening here soon. I have been watching the AH for a few weeks and I cannot afford the TW robe set but the immortal robes are definitely affordable with only one problem. So i was playin my brand new char there... while P.o.w broke down and i got NOTHIN. now they fixed it and replaced the old rewards with a Fated Reward Box that when you click on it after some certain quests it gives you items right ? Well i logged in after the update but in my already 52 level dwarf's inventory there was NO FATED REWARD FREAKIN BOX :mad: !!!!! So what do i do now ? trying to reach level 85 with my c grade equipment or with my 300 guild coins ? I WANT THIS BOX :eek: !!!!

[Q] How to keep FPS high on inactive client?

I have managed few times somehow to make this happen, and it's awesome. You can see box behavior all the time normally, not at idiotic 1 FPS...

Can someone tell me how intentionally to make multiple clients to work at normal FPS rate like only the active one works on default?

Hi...anyone know for a fact if the Gamestop NCoin cards are still giving the bonus codes out for the BEWR and an Aion code as well? I bought one and applied the code Thursday...received my 2000 coin immediately...but still no bonus codes. I allowed the 24 hours they stated it could take, and nothing. I have a ticket submitted...and we've conversed back and forth once, and they were looking into it. But it hit late Friday evening and I stopped hearing back from them...I'm assuming they were done for the day, and I won't hear from them again until Monday. I still haven't received the email with the codes like I used to. Maybe they aren't doing the codes anymore and I missed something?

Unable to select a server

Hello there, I have just redownloaded Lineage 2 to play again after several months of being away and have encountered an issue. while I got the client to launch and get updated. the game seems to not want to connect me to any server. The full issue is that when I am on the server select screen, I click and highlight the server I wish to play on ( Bartz gmt -5 for my case) and hit the ok button... and that is it, No accessing the screen to generate characters, no black screen or anything, I seem to be perpetually stuck on the server selection screen. Is there anything I can do so that I may be able so that I can get started on getting a character leveled up?

We had some fun long pvp's with Nova vs Immortals. I believe this Immortals party won the last battle tournament? Only our Nova party had no problems beating them, archer setup worked cause we had no mana problems, unlike glad/nuker party with Martel and Hitcha.
