It's just stupid. You register for ceremony and sit there 7 min doing nothing.
Then 3 minutes of hot action, and another 7 min doing nothing. Then 2 min furiously watching the notification area for invitation.
All in all, you spend 3 hours doing nothing throughout all the ceremony time, because the best you can do at this time is stand around like fool.
You can't go to hunt, you can't do instances, it literally precludes any activity, not being an actual activity by itself at all.
Shortening registration period would at least reduce that sense of time being spent for idiocy.
