SO confused

I just tried to come back to game. I got my username and password recovered so I could log in but I forgot the PIN code to enter them game form character selection.

I sent a support case in and they told me my account was deleted because it hadn't been migrated.

Im very sure I did migrate it and the fact I was staring at my character in character selection screen 3 hours ago greatly confuses me.
