Login screen freeze

Hello guys,

I have downloaded the game yesterday and I had problems with Gameguard (610 and 380) which I have solved using this:

1. Download Dsetup.dll

2. Copy in your Lineage 2 System follder.

3. Delete GameGuard.des.

4. Delete all files in System/GameGuard folder.

5. Copy L2.bin and rename in l2.exe

6. Start the l2.exe and have fun.



Now I can start my game, but when I do and I try to login it just freezes... it keeps me logging in and it seems I can watch it for eternity and it still will do so. Interesting thing is, that I can fill in any password or ID I want to and it will still do so.

So I thought it would be and firewall/antivirus (I have avast) problem, I have turned both of them and still nothing.

Also I found that sometimes c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc host file is the problem, but since I have never played private servers before and I also tried to delete it and still nothing, I believe it's not the problem here.



Is my solution for gameguard problem the cause of my new problem? If so, would you be so kind and give me some other solution? :)
