Doomcryer or Spectral Dancer

I'm a lv 97 Hierophant and I'm currently bored with the class. It's great, but not for what I'm doing, which is grinding to 99 with a lot of solo'ing (hey it beats staring at the AH). So between the 2 classes, which one is best dps for solo pve? SD is easy to read the skills, but for doomcryer: how much MP does the toggle drain per tick? And what kind of damage does the DOT do in pve at 97?



On paper it looks like DC gets the best of both worlds (Patk AND defense) when he can keep the toggle up. I don't know what to make of the DOT. Is it like Feoh's Death Breath? or way less powerful? The SD's little BR isn't that impressive, but Medusa was always fun to have.
