cannot install Lineage 2 OR NCsoft Launcher

title describes it pretty well. ive been trying for an hour now, and nothing i do works. every possible attempt at installing this game fails completely due to frustrating and incoherent errors. not once have i ever seen an actual launcher open to attempt to download the game; i never get that far.



either im doing something very fundamentally wrong, or the installation instructions on the main page itself are impossible to correctly follow. i need to know how to do this.
