subclass summoner

So, I wanted one of my subclasses to be summoner, so I can summon ppl... I have a subclass change cert, so I've been lvling a fast lvling subclass so I can change it to summoner eventually. I wanted to know what the difference in summoning classes is at 80... do ppl still need a summoning crystal to get summoned or is there a summoner that doesn't require it? Do WC still get gate chant, if I remember right that summoned whole party and didn't require ppl to have a summoning crystal. I have no intention of using this char for anything except summoning ppl, so pls what are the best options/differences

Is afk fishing allowed now that they changed the mechanics to not require any action to fish? Haven't played in a while and just tried the new fishing, seems made for afking now
