Sometimes, I am just amazed by the difference of people in lineage2...different age, sex, nationality, ethnic background, language, culture, financial status, value system...so much difference; and when all these factors are combined, the result can be quite dramatic! LOL It never cease to amaze me!
Most of all, I now have a belief that...the source of 99% of all the violence and war in the world is due to the different sense of humor of people. What is funny for one person can be not funny at all for the other person, actually a lot of times just insulting...You see, a joke is a joke only when both the speaker and the listener find it funny. If not....then it's not a joke at all. So much respect for the comedians now...for their ability to make people laugh all at the same time! Probably the smartest people on the planet!
Anyways, here are some characters I've met in Lineage2.
Kama 99: A DD told the party that he was lagging...and sure enough got dced right when 3rd boss was at 10% HP. I knew people with dynamic IP sometimes gets their IP address re-assigned during the game, causing them to DC momentarily, so I told the party to stop on the boss and just kill the adds. 3 minutes later, the DD came back to party. He entered the instance but told us to finish the boss...He refused to come close to the boss to get Exp but stayed far away..on the 2nd boss platform. His reasoning was...Since He got DCed, he doesn't deserve the 3rd Boss kill. I was like WOW...so honest, conscientious!
The other Kama party I joined however...was very problematic. There was the party Leader, a DD, a healer and a tank. All 3 of them turned out to be friends(or 1 person boxing? I am not so sure) Well it was 7 men party with a tank, so 4 DDs 1 Iss 1 healer 1 Tank. And the tank was AFK most of the time...He didn't do anything for the 1st boss...and still was missing in action on the 2nd boss too...BUT! HE MOVED! TO GET 2nd BOSS EXP! but did nothing else! not even auto attack the boss with 'Rage Aura' LOL. (If a tank just hit the raid boss with rage aura on = rage boss gets the Rage Aura DEBUFF) He just moved to collect the EXP but did nothing else for the party. At this point I told the Leader to kick the tank out! No response...So I whispered the party leader and he answered me back, "He is at work and busy." So we finished the 2nd boss and moved to the 3rd boss and AGAIN! the tank moved! but just stood there! So I told everyone in the party chat, Is tank a box? "NO, he is not a box just busy at work" said the healer this time. "Well, Kick him now or I will leave!" I told them...Anyways...after some exchange of words I finally told them "IF you are so busy at work then you shouldn't join a party. Kama is not that important and it's only a game. Why should other people work their A S S-off to carry your toon?" at this point the AFKing Tank at last said his first and last words "PR" then there was an instant party recall! LOL
Party dismissed on the 3rd boss KAMA! first time ever! LOL

well I am not against the boxing but I usually box toons only when I am soloing; and I don't mind other people boxing in a party when they are at least doing their job. I mean some boxers are so good that most of the time, people don't even realize it. However, even if they are not a perfect boxer, as long as they try and do what they are supposed to be doing...I think it's ok... Me on the other hand, I don't do boxing at all when playing with other people...unless a class like ISS or Healer is needed badly and we spend more than 15 minutes getting that class for a simple instance like Baylor.
And there are those who are just there to leech everything from anybody...Kinda like the annoying panhandler on the street who keeps following you around until they get FREE money or Smokes...LOL They expect you to level their toon while their alt is on the party and they do nothing but stand there...or just follow your toon...They join a clan and expects this as if they have the RIGHT to ask high level people to do them a favor! Well...IF someone does something nice, it's to be APPRECIATED but NOT to be taken for granted and ask for more! LOL I want Free PowerLvling and Free Gears and just when they thought They've Sucked enough of people's time and resources they just leave the clan and repeat the process in the other clan! LOL? (Maybe this is how they enjoy this game? Scamming and annoying?)
And there are those who ask for nothing; but I see them Soloing silently step by step for leveling and I see them putting in the extra time raiding or doing the adena making Dailies...no complaints whatsoever!
