L2 used to be amazing, there was constantly things to do and things to aim for, reasons to level up and reasons to gear up.
Now it all just feels hollow and pointless and this is a serious issue.
1) Primary goal of L2 used to be PvP.... now PvP is completely dead. Bots/Scripts take advantage of all the reasonably recently introduced bugs such as buff delay etc, clan assist dominated in sieges.
2) No one field XPs, so there's no open field pvp. People simply don't want to waste expensive runes/xp pots/buffs when they could get ganked and lose them.
3) Gear difference kills pvp even more.
4) Events and bad have completely ruined the economy, so there's very little economy left to play and what there is is extremely risky.
5) With the pure cost of gearing a toon now (200b+ for 'ok' gear) and so much chance stuff costing 1-20b a click, any pitiful amount you can farm seems pointless.
6) There's nothing left in the game for players to achieve by farming things. Raids are dead on spawn to bots, general items and mats have a stupidly low drop rate and in general aren't worth much compared to what a player needs.
7) Gameplay is crazily unbalanced, only a few classes are decent for PvE or PvP, a few classes simply outshine all the rest (and there's only 9 classes!).
So basically I've hit 101 on 3 toons, have decent gear on all and just want to address the issue that the game now feels completely hollow and pointless. Every day is just log in and do instances, never make adena hunting, nothing interesting or worthwhile to farm, no point in aiming for pvp when there's only parnassus and scripts are simply too strong.
I wouldn't mind hitting 103, but there's absolutely no endgame result for that, nothing to achieve. The only thing left that could make pvp/goals interesting again is starting scripting like everyone else, however I don't want to do that.
