Any plans to improve information policy and player relations?

Lineage 2 used to be a lot about strategy, it was an open world where changes were introduced in good time and with good notice.
  • Patch notes would be released months before an update.
  • Event information would be released weeks before an event.
  • Maintenance notes would be released long before the maintenance and they actually used to contain release notes on what happened during that maintenance.
  • There was a PTS that players could test updates on and feed back information to GMS.
  • Events rarely had a major impact on the game economy.

Now:
  • We get a brief overview of maintenance about 10h before they occur.
  • Almost every maintenance has hidden patches, bugs, nerfs or changes we have to find ourselves.
  • Events information is given after the event has started.
  • Game breaking events regularly happen without prior notice.
  • We're lucky to get update information a week before it goes live.

The whole thing really detracts from the game, making it unstable and simply boring to play... there's no advance notice or consistency, there's nothing to plan for in game since it can change without notice within 10h.

The attitude really implies that you simply don't care about the consumers who pay your wages. This is an expensive, premium cost bracket game with some very loyal customers.....

Is there any reason things have gone like this?
