Well i see the ncsoft either dont care or they are part of the botters in this game. I for one cant stand it. I report the botters an get same *** **** back. This game has no end to it cause ncsoft has no balls to do there job. Spamers botters rmt acct selling and they just turn there heads to it.i was just down in silentvally there are more the 60 botters running there atm. Think its time to go to a differnt game this one has no morels to it nomore. Besides they tell us to report them and we dont get payed by ncsoft. Reports is a fairy tale they never see them. Hope one day ncsoft gets people that care an do there job, cause it wont be long this game will be dead for ever thanks ncsoft for nothin r3b3l chronos

Always getting chat ban, can't link items... WTF???
Ok so:
I got chat banned for chatting to friends in party chat.
I can't type and link an item with a long name in the same message.
I can't link more than 1 item in chat ( that's what got me chat banned).
My Friends got chat banned in CLAN chat....
Whenever I use a macro skill that talks in party chat (rez, cleanse, target etc) the chat ban extends.....
When in chat ban you now can't communicate full stop.... not even in private (party/clan etc) channels.
Now when the ** have adena sellers linked items, used party or clanchat or any non-public channels????
Seriously... wtf is going on, is this a bug or intended functionality? It defies rationality, but sadly so do most of them developments in this game.

3rd Party Software: Area's Owned By Bots.
I enjoy this game most of the time, but on many occasions I have become extremely frustrated and disheartened by the hundreds of, what I have become completely convinced, are characters being controlled by 3rd party programs. Having only recently returned to Lineage 2, I have concerns about 3rd party programs and their use. I felt like I had to raise the issue publicly.
I have not played 'Lineage 2' for many years before I recently returned to the game only two weeks ago. The release of C4 is roughly the point in time that I draw reference about past experiences of the game, 'Lineage 2.' I know that this subject is not entirely new as I have witnessed many instances of both individual characters being automated by 3rd party software as well as whole groups of characters being controlled by such programs when I played the game many years ago. However for some reason it seems to me that there are now literally hundreds of software controlled characters, forming veritable armies of clients that are consistently located in core leveling and questing areas, at all time periods and on all days that I have played the game. I know I can not declare that I know for a fact that 3rd party programs are being used however I have become increasingly convinced that I am correct is assuming that there are many clients being controlled by 3rd party programs by a great many characteristic examples, such as;

In fact, I believe it to be quite possible, that the game Dev's who work upon the ever-evolving game of Lineage 2, may be continuously angered and frustrated by the problems caused by all kinds of 3rd party software that players ask them to resolve. I know that NCsoft tries to deal with people using 3rd party software or scams and exploits, in ways that would be considered to be cheating by legitimate players and game Dev's alike.
The point of this thread was not to complain, it is instead to ask for professional advice about the subject and what solutions the game admin would suggest as well as to allow me to further express how much this issue slows my game progress and takes away some of the enjoyment of playing the game. (And maybe, many others as legitimate players, feel a similar way and share my concerns about this subject).

- Every time I visit the town of Heine, I have clearly seen that on one pier in particular a large amount of individuals that number over 40, (I counted them and I stopped counting at 40), have been fishing what appears to be the same target location. The characters that I have seen fishing in this location, continue to do so without pause or delay and continuously ignore any social interaction by use of either general chat or by means of private messages that I and others have made towards them. In my opinion, this lends credibility to my theory that these characters are being controlled by a 3rd party program as opposed to a living human being.
- There are blatantly obvious groups of Dark Elf Summoner characters that are so numerous I could only describe them as armies consistently located in the different area's of the area called 'The Wall of Argos.' Every time I have visited the area in game there have always been many, (I would estimate between five and twenty) of these characters in each of the mob spawning area's, at any one time, all appearing to move in exact unison to attack the areas mob's as they re-spawn. I am convinced, that these characters are (at least mostly) automated botting programs. These dark elf summoners all seem to be generic as from what I can tell, most of them have the same face/hair choices. I have not seen the characters return to town for any kind of re-supply or rebuffing. A player controlled character would almost certainly take advantage of supply items as well as the newbie buff which is now provided for free until level 85. I am convinced that these characters are controlled by botting programs and not a human being, and I am also convinced that they are all connected as it would appear that due to their sheer weight in number, they need no support from buff or consumable item.
My questions are as follows;
- Firstly, I apologize if this thread is written incorrectly or perhaps posted in the wrong place, if it is so, where should I direct any questions and concerns regarding the issue of people that are suspect of using 3rd party software to automate control of their characters in this manner; as well as the issue of areas becoming too overcrowded by the large groups of these characters that I suspect to be automated by 3rd party programs of various types?
- I am interested in learning if I'm alone in my concerns, or if the in-game problems caused by this subject does indeed hinder and frustrate some or many of the games legitimate players as much as it does myself?
- As the characteristic behavior of these large groups of characters matches the known behavioral patterns of 3rd party botting programs; What action, if any is being taken by NCsoft to reduce the impact these large groups of 3rd party program controlled characters have on legitimate players who are trying to enjoy the game?
- In support of the EULA of the game, a player friendly community and the actual intended in-game experience created by NCsoft itself, what action (if any), can be taken by legitimate players to combat the above issue? - (In my opinion, the current method of using the 'Bot Report' button seems to be ineffective because the amount of characters I suspect of being controlled by 3rd party programs is so large that I would not be able to play the game properly as I would have to spend a large portion of my play time targeting individual bot controlled characters and reporting them. I have reported a moderate amount of these characters already by use of the provided button, however many of these reported characters are always easily seen to be in the same places doing the same activities, even a week after I have reported them).
- What would Lineage 2 admin suggest that a player should do if they find it too difficult to complete a quest goal or other objective because of a lack of available mobs caused by the large groups of almost identical, ever-present, ever-active, and ever-synchronized bots. (by bots, I mean the characters that behave in a manner that is, (as I have learned from my own research), characteristic of being under the automated control of 3rd party software).
- Can the admin of Lineage 2 at least sympathize with the huge levels of frustration to players; as well as the added hindrances to character progression; Which is a result of certain key areas of the game world being permanently "Owned" by these groups of (suspected), characters that are automated by 3rd party software usage?
- When will the legitimate players of Lineage 2 no longer face these issues?
- And lastly, until such a time as this issue is resolved, could NCsoft possibly place the mobs needed for the progression of the various quests that are recommended along the path to level 85, in some other locations in the world which would further grant players the ability to complete their quests within a reasonable amount of time. (It can be so very hard to collect enough quest items, when the other characters hunting the same mobs as you, seem to have the gift of being able to instantly target a mob immediately upon that mobs re-spawning in, doing so milliseconds before it has even fully appeared visually).

Dear GMs , thank you very much for changing some settings in chat to reduce bot spams , it really helps good. But as for me , there is still 1 small problem that u can easyly change and help ppl like me. Can you make previous settings for channel chat? I mean chat that is using CC leader to write for 2 or more pt. I was last few days on some epics and had some problems with this. Writing fast some messages , or using macro , i receive ban chat while i am CC leader . When we have to do smth or we dice drop , always the same.- ban chat. And i have to write very slowly to not be banned , so in some ocasions ppl die in instance or my clan members start writing dice resaults instead of me ... .
Bots cant use cc chat. So please , change bit this settings.

It would be really nice since NC can't be bothered to do anything about the bots in game clogging up every major leveling spot from 20 to 85.. if they would put out an event that was actually worth doing.
It would be nice to see an event with prizes that are actually worth participating in the event and not.. BSOE... BREZ.. HP pots.. Seriously this entire Lara event the only thing that box has given me and most of those in my ally or friends list is BSOE.
If you guys aren't going to do **** about the bots.. at least give us an event that is worth logging in for.

Judicator Awakening
How do I fix this.... My Dual class is a level 85 Judicator, and I wanted to awaken him. After completing the awakening quest, I was unable to choose ANY awakening classes. That seems kind of silly to me. Am I able to choose a new dual class and level them up to 85 now?

For 3-4 weeks i can't log ... they forced me to migrate. Ok... i've tryed.
And guess what ... doesnt work ... ive tryed to put old email, new email ... nothing work.

Their answer : Give us CARD ID photo to find your account , because your birthday doesnt match.... lol
I gave them everything to find my account and fix this :

Just wanted to say good job to NCSoft
It is really nice to see almost all the hunting areas 85+ with live players. It is nice to finally be able to get into CoC! You guys are doing a great job with the bot bans! I know it is a struggle, but really.. the hunting areas are looking great and I'm really getting psyched for the new update.
I'll definitely be buying some nc coins in April to show my appreciation for your hard work of banning these bots.
So yea, thanks again for taking care of this game so well after it's been out so long.

why du ncsoft just leav bot :confused: you cant hunt any where any more is all bot bot bot and ncsoft keep prices so high ???? why it is/ was a great game and if ncsoft did like to stop bot it will be so easy, just make all bot killeres NOT go red, bot high prices make nubs use real mony at bot so like we say 1+1 = ncbot ???
Suggestion No.2: Adena and L2 Store
While reading official forums I've stumbled upon phrases such as "NCwest should start selling adena in store". Those phraes were followed by the other ones, like "Drawing and selling adena would create inflation- aka prices would rise in no time". That is correct. But what if there's a middle way?
NCwest could sell items for NC coins and adena alongside. Then acumulated adena could be sold in L2 store. It is very important that only adena that were bought would be sold in store ( no adena out of nowhere ). NCwest would be able to manage the amount of adena they're buying/selling- i expect some weakly or monthly cap for such transactions via L2 store.
Positive effects: a) elimination of shout messages such as "WTB NC coins for adena, pm me asap"; b) elimination of rage shouts, like "xxPrinceCharmingxx is a scammer, don't buy NC coins from him never!"; c) new system would seriously compromise RMT's business here- why would someone buy adena from them and risk being banned when they would be able to buy adena legally; d) if it's true that RMT's are taking away part of profit from NCwest, then my suggestion could increase NCwest revenue ( and, hey, they could hire some GM's for us;) ).

Frintezza Entry Quest problem
My problem is simple. I've done the four goblets quest and Last Imperial Prince Quest. But I dont have: Frintezza’s Magic Force Field Removal Scroll and w/o that item i cant enter tezza instance right?
According to support i need to do Journey to a Settlement quest via nameless spirit. But there is no quest like that on that npc.

* Raider their nicknames (Objetctive, Trout, Heels, Healies and more ...) Naia server.
* The same owner of all other servers. This guy get as 2billions a day on each server.

As title says I am new here but definitely not new to L2. I used to play L2 back in the day like 12 years ago and I've played on and off since then, well I've decided to come back and give it another go :) I don't really know what server or class I'm even going to play yet but I'm really looking forward to getting on again after many years.
I'm mainly writing this post because I really would like to meet some folks that play still and possibly get some guidance here and there. Also possibly get into a guild and make some friends.
I'll post later to let everyone know what server I end up joining if my game downloads before I hear from anyone on here. But can't wait to hear from you guys and look forward to playing with some of you guys in the future.

Are bots such big issue?
I'm considering giving this game a go, but I'd like to ask if bots are such big issue like people here seems to make it out to be, or can you have fun, ignoring bots? Also, which server has least bots?

TO THE IMMEDIATE ATTENTION OF LINEAGE 2 NA GMs (chronos server)
Yesterday the forum user called GoodKnightzzzzzt has made a startling confession of his illegal activities on the Chronos server. He made a new thread entitled "WizardOfTheNorth in bananaland" or something of the sorts in which he confessed that "BECAUSE OF HIM, AND THE FACT THAT HE ASKED HIS WHOLE APEX ALLY (the most numerous alliance in the Chronos server) to report the player named WizardOfTheNorth, hereby ABUSING THE PETITION SYSTEM, WITHOUT ANY EVIDENCE, BASING HIS ACUSATIONS PURELY ON SPECULATIONS AND HEAR-SAY, the player named WizardOfTheNorth was banned. FURTHERMORE, if that acknowledgment did not suffice to prove his ABUSE OF THE PETITION SYSTEM, he stated to another forum user called "DorkDozer" the following threats if I am not mistaken: that "IF HE GOT WIZARDOFTHENORTH BANNED, IN THIS ILLEGAL MANNER, HE CAN GET HIM BANNED ASWELL.
Since when do you people tolerate this kind of abuse of your petition system? You really should reconsider ALL PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE PETITIONS FROM APEX ALLIANCE MEMBERS, to prevent further ABUSE OF THE PETITION SYSTEM! Why is this sort of action tolerated and not sanctioned? Fails at update every week!
Hi,
I don't know what to do anymore, every week when I need to update is the same sytuation.
Errors Eo2018, 2019, 2002 and all kinds of them when I try to repair or update.
I try to do what it says on site , fe. connect directly by cable from modem, once it worked fine, week later i had to do some repairs, deleting system or patch files, but it worked and today it took much, much longer.
It seems like it always stops on different files and says cannot upload or download (and shows the error number), when I make again repair it writes a different file that didn't download so I do it till it somehow finishes...but it should not be like this and I don't know what is the problem.

Wynn PvE AP Setup
Anyone found a good AP combination for Wynn in PvE (Mainly Dim Warp)?
Currently I've got 11 AP all in the warrior tree, P.atk, Crit Rate, 2 into accuracy for the hidden berserk skill, 1 into death whisper because there was literally nothing else to go for apart from p.def or light p.atk (I have robe). I'm working with the aim of AP 13 and 14 into Elemental Damage/resist.
Gear wise I have a Str Hat, OE Retributer, Str bracelet, +15 Str dyes and Robes, I'd get light but can't shift any gear to afford it and my robe set is OP.
Come PvP I will switch these into HP and M.atk etc.
Anyone found good PvE AP setups? Do pets actually benefit from any AP?

Account Sharing - Appeal ? How it really works ?

so i wanted to share with You my situation..
For the first thing,
I did share my account, and yes i know it was my fault, i broke an Rule, im really sorry for that.
And the thing is,
account was permamently blocked, this caused that the account went in state
" Multiple person can proof in fact that they are account owners, account is completly unsupportable "
But...
how it really works, if i still have mail account that i've used to create NC account ( 2012 year )
it was the times when with registration i needed to log in with email.
So email as ID for lineage 2.
( nobody never had access to my mail account. )
And if I'm using the same psychical adress, same PC station, i can provide my ID card wich clearly say its me.
It is not like that they actually can check that and make a proof of that I'm the only account owner, and they should disclaim other Person for making this?
I kept contact support few times, and every time i was just getting the same Automated answer. They have not answer even 1 single question that i've asked in Ticket.
And after few tickets, they suspended my Support Account, so i can't acces it.
What should i do in this situation? I feel completely ignored, while I'm sure that it's possible for them to Disclaim other Person for making the proof, and get me back on my account, and make it "Supportable" .

I am cardinal (Elf), I do my good character in mass pvp and I read that the best class is Eva Saint.
I have some questions.
First, if I change the class to Eva Saint dyes or level I lose? I have + 10CON
Second, what would be a good combination to cardinal? (dyes + accesories ...)
Third, HP DualClass skill can be learned at level 85 and later go up your level or have to save the items to be 99 with dualclass?

Bot spamers -adena sell

I was thinking a lot about bot spamers, and what can we do against them.
My 1st opinion was to change chat lvl of pm and general white chat to 85 and done. And may be it is good. But i have 1 more ideya and hope GMs will try this.
Evrething is simple. Bots are using 1n sentence that they spam it in different chats. What if we change bit chat system and when some 1 is using a macro or simply is writing 1 same sentence more then 10+ or may be 20+ per minute to different chats or same sentence to different ppl , will get ban for 3 hours.
As a resault, those bots, using 1n single sentence that is same or same for 80% for many times in 1 minute will get ban automatically evry 3 hours. if u are real person and u spammed a lot, np wait 3 hours dont need to call GM. Also why 80%. Bots can be more clever and use sentence+ number , where number will change. That is why need for 80% , sentence that is reapeted more then 10-20 times per minute.
May be it will not solve problem for 100% but i gues it will help a lot.
Guys from forum, if u agree with me, please support by ur answer. GL to all of us.

Summoner Dim SP Farm
Ok, I've done my healer now for summoner.
Any tips on max DPS for Dim Warp SOLO Farm?
So far I can do the 1st floor in 7.5mins leaving 3 mobs, ideally I should be beating my healer who has exactly the same gear but can do it in 6-7 mins leaving 2 mobs.
Currently I'm DE Summoner using Melee pets spamming AOEs and dotting 2-3 mobs a time.
Any tips on getting max DPS for Dim, I need to beat 130m SP/Hr. (Please remember this is for clearing Dim asap, not general PvE DPS :P)

As many of Lineage 2 players know, Lineage 2 is an game that has always been infested with bots. It's a part of the game that the majority became to accept because NcSoft West isn't stopping them.
But since the release of GoD, it seems that NCSoft lost the capability to monitor their servers actively to counter these bots that fill EVERY chat with endless spam.
Everyone knows that since GoD came and NCSoft West opened their doors to the L2Store, they generate a lot more profits then ever before.
So what is the deal with the unability to hire a GM for each server to counter the bots? The spam is in General chat, Shout chat, Whisperers, Mails. It doesn't matter where you are anymore, the spam is everywhere. Open up the Party Matching, the spam is there too.
There is NO way on Earth that NCSoft West can say "Oh, sorry we didn't see that". There is no need to make people to pay again for their accounts for creating them, there just needs to be a team of NCSoft West Staff that is countering the spam. It's not hard.
If your company policy is to have proof before giving a ban, just screenshot it and //kick and ban them. Yes, //kick is a builder command.
I noticed that the staff is quick with saying "Throw in a Support ticket". We'll know that nothing will come out of it. The current policy you (NC) is forcing is to push players away to alternative servers where the staff is doing something to stop this spam.
I know that this is "one of those topics". But atleast I let my voice out and let my frustration to be known. The reason I post this is because I want people to read this, the old ones, the new ones, the members of the staff.
Let the big-bad site of the game be known: ITS SPAMBOT INFESTED. There are as many spamming bots as there are zombies in Left 4 Dead.:confused:
On Another Note: Why are you supporting the RMT botters? You've lowered the Adena drop rate to such a point where even using soul/spiritshots is TOO expensive (Calculate with me: ~615-765 adena for 1 (ONE) Spiritshot R-Grade. 5 to 6 hits per mob = 3690 - 4590 adena. 1 mob drops 200-400 adena.
Do you wan't an empty game? Because this is how you get an empty game (bots not counted).

Pay to Play! Suggestion for Packs
Players should never feel pushed out in favor of profiteering.
We made your game just as much as you developed it.
I'm an old L2 subscriber who did run multiple accounts. I paid $45.00 a month for a game so grand in it's endeavors that I'd spend far too much time working on everything it had to offer.
The times I had to speak with GMs and expose bots, was often, but it would get resolved about 50% of the time. Those margins even if not perfect were acceptable as you would see a gradual difference if you kept on with it.
I understand it's a business model to run a free to play game and push these expensive boosts and luxuries that help players sate the urge in the moment to expedite things that take time.
$15.00 is a well rounded, obtainable number, that if all pay - all are equal. Of course RMT has mostly been around since the beginning, but it was a gamble for people to do so.
If I could pay a flat $15.00 and be neck and neck with others when I CAN put in the time, that'd be much more enjoyable. I loved the opportunity to hitch in with the Clan at a grinding location and just power house the experience for 12-16 hour bursts on the weekends. I'd catch up, just be a little bit behind if I stuck to my routine.
Prestige Pack $15.00 for an immeasurable amount of benefit. (Not good)
Destiny $50.00 a month for a single character to have bonuses? (A bit far)
The other packs the bonuses wouldn't be noticeable, therefor why spend the money?
Make a pack that gives us 100% Exp / SP 30 days and extended vitality. Make it $15.00, people would buy this in a heart beat.
Maybe even throw in a few extra Kartia passes or some kind of random bonus.
I won't even comment on the current drop rates, I can't imagine attempting to tackle that.

I have been changing my password over and over and over again in my NC Master account. I keep getting the message on the login screen in game "Please login after changing your temporary password." Now, I'm able to login to my master account on the L2 website using my e-mail and password(s). However I cannot login to the game with the same information. Are all the passwords I've been changing to temporary? If someone could tell me how exactly to fix this problem, that would be really awesome. I've sent out a couple of tickets asking for help, but I'm feeling a bit impatient.
I've also been away from the game for awhile, and when I last left it, I was able to login to the game with just my user and password, not my e-mail and password. Is my account not migrated? I've followed the steps necessary to migrate it, and it may or may not be migrated.

March 22: Failed to stop Apex from getting castle. (DarknessReborn along with the Apex force defended them no problem)

I'm back in after a good break, just taking my time. I've banged out Lv. 87 to Lv.89 in about two days. Shooting for 90 in the next 72 hours. No bots, no paid anything. Just birthday vitality pots (that just ran out) that I've accumulated over the years.
Othell Ghost Hunter +10 Dex with Apoc Dagger +3 / Fire 150.
I want to maximize my grinding time while online, but not wanting to spend money beyond getting 1200-3600 Ncoin if it comes to that. SH3 groups are nice, I do my Kartia / other dailies.
Once I sell stuff, I'll have 400m give or take in hopefully the next few days.
Debating on what to do, if I should focus on Adena or if I should buy Exp Boosts and just grind like a bat out of hell.
Looked at Prestige Pack or Destiny, doesn't seem like really good value in either. I noticed the 200% 7 Day Exp, but I'm concerned. The drops are terrible and if I did choose to accelerate my leveling, the Seraph Set / Specter weapons are far out of my reach.
I need advice. Please, do not respond with, "Quit," or paid services make you terrible.
My thoughts are, sell the items bought with Ncoin and get some Dual Apoc Daggers +4 and focus on getting the maximum Elemental Attack. Run without Vitality or Boosts, but just be as efficient as possible.
But would a 200% Exp boost be enough to power me up to 91/92 if I do 100% grind time, solo or group with dailies? My clan is mostly 95+ so I can't get into half of their groups. Are raids a ton of experience?
Also, I do have a Maestro pumping out a modest income. Only making shots, but I'm doing it around the clock. Too much free time right now.
Also, if there are any static grinding groups - please let me know. I'm EST but I'm on all day and to the late night for at least the next couple weeks.

Bots farming 24/7 at Raider's Crossroads their nicks(Objetctive, Truta, Jumping and Healies) server naia. The same owner of all others servers. This guy get like 2billions per day on each server. Raider's CrossRoads is the only place that legit can farm adena without any 3rd programs and we cant farm there if those bots are running. Please Gm's ban those bots. I know you trying to ban adena farmers like GF, GOG and others places but crossroads need some attention also! Thank you.

Hi guys, my feoh have like 53% to 99 and I am just thinking, is worth to back to NC soft or stay or Innova? I am getting now time to play, but just think if is Shilen still dead or something changed? I liked Shilen before, but my Australia time zone is probably not best, but still should be not bad. Thanks for all advices.

Hi all! I wanted to ask if there is any chance in the future to increase the lvl cap of our subclasses and make them 85+ like dual classes? In old days all our classes caped to 80 and we had 4 classes to play with. Now we have 2 and if you want to try something new you have to create another character from the beginning. So I hope to let us lvl our subclasses to the same lvl as our mains and make them awaken.

Is this true ? Cause for specter i can only afford Specter Dualsword+4(5)+300+1sa. Should i stay with apoc?

Wich jewells i should take for get a less reuse on skills, 8 seconds on balance sometimes is not enoguth, because of the damage of the party... and what's the diference between Valakas necklase (reduces the skill cooldown) with for example Istina necklase (m. skill cooldown --%)?, and wich you would choose for a healer?. To many questions, hope someone can help me.

Make every class get a dual class like Erthia race. Subclasses are pointless and a waste of time to level up.

So the email that told us we had to migrate our accounts, if we hadn't already, also said that when we do we would get a 400 Ncoin bonus. I migrated most of my accounts, but I haven't gotten 400 NCoin on any of those accounts. What do I have to do to claim it, does anybody know?
Healer Solo SP Farm
Anyone found any good places for healer to solo farm SP, I mean like places where it would make sense to use pots rather than waiting for a group.
It's not always easy to find a group and half the time you end up wasting pots when someone drops, so I like having alternatives.
At the moment I'm making about 180m SP/Hr solo - with the event buff, rose scroll, 200% rune, vit and freya scroll (+460% SP total). Don't know if I can improve on that without improving my gear.

I see the Elchico name is used only on the Magmeld server...someone know if my old "famliy" is still alive somewhere? Which server should i join for enjoy some nice pvp?

Hello to all. I apologize in advance if this issue has already been raised and answered. I did search the forums but have not been able to find an answer to my question as of yet. I have not played Lineage 2 since the time when Chronicle 4 was released so I am a bit out of the loop. I have a simple question really; Is there a way that I can log into L2 without having to temporarily disable AVG? If there is a 'fix,' I would greatly appreciated it if someone could let me know. If I do not disable AVG first, Gameguard presents an error, it is the same error every time; Error code=114. I can log in and play but only by turning AVG off. I would rather not uninstall AVG if at all possible as it has always served me well. But if there is no fix; Could someone suggest a better antivirus system for someone who plans on playing a lot of L2 in the near future? Thank you for taking the time to read this and again, I do apologize if this issue has already been dealt with.

I was wondering what to expect from the game after being away for so long.
can I still get a pet wolf and level it.. Can I still enjoy one shot death spikes from a necromancer....those were a fun few weeks :)
Are clans still able to forum alliances?
Been wanting to pop back into L2 for a while just World of Warcraft raiding was eating all my free time.
Now that I have some down time I figured I'd give L2 a try again.

And what server should I join to just relax and enjoy the game?

I recall Kain being pretty crazy with clan wars breaking out every other week and always having to watch what area I was roaming about.

My debate is between my Necromancer, my Spellhowler or my Phantom Summoner.
I really like the bonuses of either the Dark Elf Classes, but I see the benefit of the Necromancer's Feoh skills.
Which is in more demand, which is more value to either of these possibilities?

Never had an mage even though i usally pick those classes. Is that human mage any good compared to the rest in pve, pvp.

11th anniversary is just around the corner, and i have quite a straightforward request; if NC is giving out gifts based on the duration players have supported the game (like last year's gifts), could you qualify gifts based on account creation age rather than on actual character age? I'm sure you have seen last year's negative feedbacks on this issue.
Last year i was only entitled to the second oldest gifts (and newer); i missed out on the oldest category by under 30 days, and it's because i rerolled my main one or 2 months after cb started. If the team had based it on account age, i would have qualified for all. Still, i wasn't too cheesed off because at least i got the second oldest, but i feel there were many players whom did not, but should have deserved it (like the antharas agathion) but they missed out on that too, probably because they rerolled later than me, or rerolled several times.
Now, it is not uncommon that, when a game is first launched, especially with a beta phase, players would be eager to test out a variety of classes in a new game system. Even with 7 character slots (was it 7 at the start, i can't remember now), rerolls would have been common, a fair testing out period. Most people weren't even sure of the capabilities of the classes. And i think only after closed beta, there was invitation to 'secure' a second account/multiple accounts in open beta/prelude/retail; most characters created from those periods would only qualify for the second oldest gifts. So the oldest gifts would only be available to those who either got it right the very first time they playtested L2, or those who refused to reroll until today.
Last year, the complaints came after announcement of the decided event, so maybe it was unfair (or even impossible) to ask for immediate amendment to the gifting procedure. Do consider this issue for the upcoming 11th Anniversary.
