As many of Lineage 2 players know, Lineage 2 is an game that has always been infested with bots. It's a part of the game that the majority became to accept because NcSoft West isn't stopping them.
But since the release of GoD, it seems that NCSoft lost the capability to monitor their servers actively to counter these bots that fill EVERY chat with endless spam.
Everyone knows that since GoD came and NCSoft West opened their doors to the L2Store, they generate a lot more profits then ever before.
So what is the deal with the unability to hire a GM for each server to counter the bots? The spam is in General chat, Shout chat, Whisperers, Mails. It doesn't matter where you are anymore, the spam is everywhere. Open up the Party Matching, the spam is there too.
There is NO way on Earth that NCSoft West can say "Oh, sorry we didn't see that". There is no need to make people to pay again for their accounts for creating them, there just needs to be a team of NCSoft West Staff that is countering the spam. It's not hard.
If your company policy is to have proof before giving a ban, just screenshot it and //kick and ban them. Yes, //kick is a builder command.
I noticed that the staff is quick with saying "Throw in a Support ticket". We'll know that nothing will come out of it. The current policy you (NC) is forcing is to push players away to alternative servers where the staff is doing something to stop this spam.
I know that this is "one of those topics". But atleast I let my voice out and let my frustration to be known. The reason I post this is because I want people to read this, the old ones, the new ones, the members of the staff.
Let the big-bad site of the game be known: ITS SPAMBOT INFESTED. There are as many spamming bots as there are zombies in Left 4 Dead.:confused:
On Another Note: Why are you supporting the RMT botters? You've lowered the Adena drop rate to such a point where even using soul/spiritshots is TOO expensive (Calculate with me: ~615-765 adena for 1 (ONE) Spiritshot R-Grade. 5 to 6 hits per mob = 3690 - 4590 adena. 1 mob drops 200-400 adena.
Do you wan't an empty game? Because this is how you get an empty game (bots not counted).

This Adena reduction choice is back-firing. This "joke" made in the quote is an ACTUAL thought that more and more players are getting.
