New player looking for advice

I use to play in prelude and for about 2-3 years after that. I just learned that L2 is free to play so I wanted to see what its like. Here are some of my questions!

1. What classes are commonly played? Basically, what is something efficient for a first character. I was thinking human Tyrr Duelist.


2. Once I out level all the free gear, will I have enough adena to buy gear?


3. Which is the best server to join (Im USA East coast)


4. Should I be doing specific quests? Or can I just grind my way to higher levels?


5. Do you guys have any other advice for me?
