Drop bugs?

Was in Fortuna after the maintenance when the Message: xxxx picked up twilight gaiters came. But, in yellow it told us he picked up 3 powders.

The player told us he didnt get the gaiters in his inventory, only those 3 powders.

So my questions are, did this happend to other parties? And what is going on?..
