Loading issues

Hello there, i have been dealing some rly slow loading screens the past few weeks. I did even a format hoping that would solve my problem, but with the last update i think my problem became even worse. Anyone dealing the same problem? Or maybe better, does anyone have a solution?

So in Naia 3 times a row to enter Lydia cuz of automated sign in, same like coc. Any plan of antiscript program? or you will let more people quit game ? you just loose money like this nothing more . 2-3 clans pvp at naia full scripts and botted adena , not many ppl like this situation you know and existent players get tired of this after a while like i am. i would use store, i could give money if it worth it but it dont , cuz no fun like this , everybody start game just quit after a while and no ppl to pvp against only dh/sh scripts so.. i suggest do something cuz lately not even dailys i can do easy + ss lags all time 1 week now even after maintenance. market is dead too everything is dead cust merge or put antibot program to attract real players not rmters .

Alchemy: problem with Air Stones

After latest game update ( 25th february ) impossible to make air stones: cannot combine materials ( lv. 2 ), armor ( a grade ), enchant scrolls etc in order to acquire required item.

Is it a bug or update works as intended ( if so there was no info about such important changes ).

New player: some questions about classes and PVP

I haven't played lineage II since ... Gracia I believe a couple of years ago. Anyways, somewhere after Hellbound when my Kamael mania died, I fell in love with summoners and especially Elemental Master. However, I started playing, currently lvl 68 in Chronos, and I find myself destroyed in pvp by the new Eartheia mages, archers (who mind you were never a problem before) and so on. I know how to play summoner, but the dmg even with transfer pain is ridiculous.



So.. Obviously it's a very good class for PvE, but I love doing PvP and I can't really play a char that sucks in that department. So my questions are: are things going to get better in the PVP department later on - like after awakening with the 3 summons or at end game.



Or summoner for pvp is no longer viable and I should make a new char? I am only level 68 so I don't really mind making a new one. Please help!

Mindset Of A Enmity Hero

Mr Darkdragon this past siege made a very sad and troubling remark in hero chat that read something like this "Enmity + Africa destroys Fs" let that sink in for a second before we continue...

This one random statement in hero chat following a siege is what a 2015 minded hero with dark gear/weap +16 ap and clanmates with pretty much the same gear making up a very strong clan with 5-6 heros or more has to say. The sadness is in the one small icon being used "+" <---------- that little yet deadly plus symbol does more harm than good.. Mr Darkdragon should have been proud to say "Enmity Destroys Fs" .. game is going on 11 years and in a age of super clans he brags of 2 Super clans vs 1. Very sad my friends.. Such is Enmity in a nutshell.. Lootness working with top powerhouse clan to get by, Fs is only great to him when the power house clans are removed. You cant fix stupid and you cant change a pve mindset with a pvp one,even if you have pvp geared people you just don't live up to the respect factor of anyone that's anyone who knows better. Example = Darkdragon ever putting in hero chat "Enmity Destroys Africa" <----- Now we know they could not handle Fs alone and they really wouldn't be able to handle Africa alone so its hold hands with tougher of the 2 options. Notice one thing and that is if they needed to Fs and Africa could stand on there own, hell Fs does already. We never get to see Enmity be non codependant.





I gave you clowns sometime to maybe wake up and get back to your Bartz roots of having a backbone. But now couple months later I see its even worse.

Okay, so I wrote a petition a week ago, and got some feedback from Raphael, whom encouraged me to repost my idea here.





So, my petition was about how freaking sucky it is, to have Santa cloak, santa hat, santa "armor", while we are left without a way to modify our weapons/shields to fit the the rest of the things.



I will copy/paste what I wrote in the petition, so that everyone has a way of reading what my initial thought were.

I mean, there are pig lollipops and another candy stick (revita Popsicle for 1/2 vitality bar) but when you wear your Santa suit, you look like an idiot with a nice suit and a random weapon...

a nice candy stick (sugar cane) for weapons and some sort of christmasy shield modification would have been nice to have.

I know it is a bit late to ask for this to go into production, but I hope that this information will be forwarded to the Dev team, so they may consider creating these things.<<<

My suggestion is that NCSoft could sell those ertheia boost scroll that was a reward on aden prize wheel ...



Its powerfull than rose or leona's buff for pve... it dont gives hp/pdef/mdef but gives more p.atk and critical damage 30%...



Could sell it in l2 store for a better price than leona's buffs and i think people that like to farm xp/sp could buy them... I used alot of those scrolls and was very good in solo pve hunts...

Used to play l2 years ago on the kain server got to a high level main and 2 subclasses, was the first SK/ST hero on kain. But not played since then and that must have been 6 years ago.

Guys it is really impossible to sell stuff. None have flipin adena :D. Dear GM's i offer u draw some and buy cheapest stuff placed in AH. Imo now is just a tons of implemented event items like " soul bottles" elcyums and so on but hey none use of them . Alchemy at master lvls are ***t up not worth even open it tons of elcyums from events and even at cheapest price noone buy cause noone can use it.

What to do with those soul botles around without S grade epics ? because there is none . :D Guys fix the things so economy get back in circle.

Black out glitch

I just installed Lineage 2 on a brand new computer and for some reason on my second account I get this strange black out glitch. It's only on this second account never my main. Most of the time it goes away the first time I teleport but lately it has been staying even when we go into Fint (Frint is blacked out too)



I've done a file repair but that didn't help any. Any suggestions?

Hey there!



Newbie player is here.



I desperately need advice from vets on building character like Claymore (from popular anime/manga).



Key reqs are:

- human race (fragile girl with huge sword is a must, also, i suppose using light armour instead heavy 'cause character will look even more fragile);

- 2h sword as a main weapon;

- evasion based defense (using speed and dex to avoid damage);

- high critical hit rate (not so important but preferable).



I'm 76lvl Gladiator now - is it possible to learn/buy desired skills from somewhere?



Also, if I understand correct - training sublcass grants its skills to your main - so I can use wider set of skills(what subclasses should I train in this case?).

Oly 50 match quest..

So I just hit my 50 matches for the month last night in Oly. It still showed my quest as 0/1, although the 5 and 10 match ones both went to 1/1 each. So I did another match, and still 0/1. I did a few more and got to 55 matches (yes I checked /olympiadstat) and still 0/1. I was getting tired and I had a 5 win in a row quest, so I cashed in on it and called it a night. I usually just do my 10 or so until I run out of points each week and cash in on it. But I hit my 50 mark for the first time in forever, and was hoping to cash in, but blah.





So, should I wait this out and try again tonight? Or is this something I need to submit a ticket for? And yes when I cashed in last night, it only rewarded me for the 5 and 10 matches, still nothing for the 50 :-(

Pet System Revamp

Hello,



First of all, I know that a thread abot pets was made by "Delph" but this one will be a longer, more detailed and more accurate thread. So, the whole Pet system feels "ancient". I doubt any changes have been made since the release of GoD update. Here are some suggestions about improving it:



1.Awakening: It sounds silly but there should be a quest for pets after they reach 85 in order to get them to the "next level". It doesn't have to be something complicated.

2.Stats and Equipment: Even if the "Awakening" thing isn't possible, a raise of stats should be made nonetheless. Even high-leveled pets cant possibly "scratch" an awakened character which makes them useless. New higher grade equipment (craftable/dropable/buyable) would be required too.

NOTE: Simply putting out new equipment in the pet manager shop wouldn't solve anything

3.Learnable Skills: I don't see the reason why a pet gets SP when it can't learn skills. At least remove the feature so the SP goes to the owner directly

-3.1.Active Skills: Here's what I meant by writing about "Awakening". The old skills should be deleted and be replaced by new ones. The current active skills barely land and they are not helpful at all. The number of skills though should stay low as it is so they can be easier to use. Some debuffs would be good too.

-3.2.Passive Skills: As far as I know pets don't even have passives. This would help building up their stats also.

-3.3.Pet Buffs: I totally think it's unfair to get such cool buffs from NCoin pets and get nothing from the pets you wasted time and adena on. I'm not saying they should be OP but at least buffs that don't stack with Iss's buffs or maybe sonata-like buffs to help solo players. Or else, a buff like the "Power of Love" event, which will be active only when the pet is summoned . This buff should differ between the type of pets. For example a Fenrir would give a buff for Mages and a Fenrir a buff for Warriors.

4.Auto-Attack: Another sign that the system is really old. After the uses a skill, the first thing to do is to come back to the master. This makes the control of the pet much harder in a battle where you both participate.

5.Mounting: The change of speed is far too low. A solution would be to put a skill like the one you have while riding a horse. Also the feature where you have to re-equip your weapon after dismounting should be removed.

6.Change Between Types A ticket or simply an option at the pet manager to change the Fenrir or Strider back to normal form. This would also work well with the 3.3 suggestion, especially for those that already have a pet or if your main class is warrior and your dual-class is mage etc.

7.Pet Window Interface: I guess making any of the changes above would require a change in the window inteface :(

8.Pet Social Interactions: Ok, this is a long-shot but it would be cool to have the ability to interact with your or the other players' pets.



Alternative Suggestion: If All the things above are way to difficult to make then just remove the whole feeding system. Let the pets be useless and players own the just for style. But that wouldn't be much of a solution, would it? ;)



Conclusion:

In my opinion a pet system revamp would add so much more the game. New PvP/PvE strategies will be made and pets might become a useful partner in hunting for those who have the will and time to level them. It would also be a great help for players that like the Solo play.

I know that not many people care about them but those who do are surely let down and quickly become uninterested about it.

Again, I'm not suggesting the pets to become way too powerful and I know some of the things I wrote are hardly possible to make. The post is so lengthy just because the system seems so outdated.

downloaded the Game yesterday but the Ping is not really acceptable for me, when i click its need 1,2 or 3 seconds (depends) till it recognize the click, 2 seconds is the most common one. I just can't understand why a Game for EU got Servers in Texas.. i've heared that Naia was once in Germany, why move it ? Most of European Countries would have a good connection to germany.



Is there any way to reduce the lag ?

The list may go on for more. If it seems to be too much for the data sheet it can be made as a drop down menu on the character information sheet. Make them percentages or convert them into a number scale that can be measured accurately.

Flocks of Birdies

There seems to be an inordinate amount of birdies (Kamels) running around the Varkas area and other places as well. What is causing this? They have strange names like 135up. They descend on the Varkas like a plague of locusts, 24 hours a day. You have to stand in line and take a number to kill a Varka. The Ketras are about the same. They don't pick up drops, just target the next critter. My guess is that they are bots. Is someone trying to sell accounts, if so why only Kamels? Inquiring minds want to know.:)

I have a question related to what server is actually "Bot free?" Because there are so many bots in the Naia server that playing becomes a real problem. Just curious if all the server have this issue, if so i better quit playing now. :confused: Seems to me the rules in botting have been changed, so all do it now? :(

HELP!!, New PC with Windows 8.1

Hello from the title you can see I am having problems running Win 8.1 and Lineage 2, I crash and even freeze up. I have searched the forums and seen there was a problem back in 2013 but I never seen a fix for it. I am running AMD 9370 chipset with AMD/Radeon r9 280x video card, SSD, all my drivers and updates are current and im still having a problem staying in L2. The longest I have been able to stay in L2 is 40 mins before crash, most of the time it only 10 mins b4 crash or freeze so if anyone could point me in the right direction for a fix...id really appreciate it. And yes I know I only scratched the surface with comp set up, if there is more info needed I can get some kind of benchmarking tool to get all the info needed...ty all in advance for any help you can give me.

Lineage2 is not Lineage2 anymore? (LF for a Game Like L2)

Hi all im really sad that im going to post it but it has to be ive been playing Lineage2 since the Korean Beta and this PvP System and PK System with Karma was the best i ever Played but now i tought im coming back and when i logged into the Game anything is totaly diferent... i realisied theres a new Race wich i forgott the name (not Kamael) but what worrys me is that they completly changed the Pk system if you pk now you do not lose karma by dieying PKing was the reason why i acutaly enjoed the game so much but now... anything seems to be broke players got weird name colors its just not Lineage2 anymore before being F2P it was much better in my opinion C3/C4 Interlude time was the best what im actualy looking now is i wanna find a Game that has similiar PvP PK System like Lineage2. im testing games since a Week now but no one of those game has even come close to the athmsphare of Lineage2 of being able to atack Players everywhere outside Towns or even going Red if the player dosent hit back those are the games i have testet since now:

Hi. I started playing yesterday and just got to about lvl 31. (you level crazy fast in this game wow)



Anyway, I accidentally bought 2 bows with all my proof of courages and now can't get any armor or arrows for my bow and All I can use is Power Shot which is really annoying. How can I return the bow or get more proofs?



Also, I've been asking for help for about an hour walking around but the only thing I ever see in chat is spam bots linking to RMT sites?? is this game dead or how can I get to a real chat???



Please help :/ feeling discouraged to keep playing.

Estoy tratando de hacerme un pj humano, pero en una de las primeras quests, que es cuando se ingresa por primera vez en una instancia. Al momento de aceptarla no me lleva a ningun lado, el radar aparece en amarillo como si estuviera en la zona, pero sigo en el mismo lugar, al hablar con el npc Holden me dice que hable con él una vez haya matado a todos.

Para colmo no me deja hacer las siguientes quest ya que es parte de una cadena.

En caso que no se pueda solucionar, si sigo entrenando puedo hacer el primer cambio de clase igualmente, o tambien es parte de la cadena de misiones?

Botting Problem

Hello.

Recently I've re-joined official Lineage 2 server, and the first problem I've ran into is SO MANY players that are using BOTS.



Honestly, I'm not a great programmer, but I don't think that a unique character name requirement at character creation screen (like e.g. more than 5 letters, 1 capital letter, not super-randomized, captcha verification to create a character) is that hard to configure, and that'd GREATLY reduce that problem.



As for example of how MANY players do that (because it's not that companies run these, just 1 player can run like 50 characters), I'm gonna attach a screenshot of Forsaken Plains area, where I'm trying to do some quests and grinding at the moment, and it's just nearly impossible to get any mob, it takes like 10 times more time to complete a quest because of that...



Also, what is that "Bot Report Button" in ALT+C for? Like it doesn't give anything at all, I've reported like 5 characters today, checked 30 minutes later, they were still farming their stuff...



So, NCSOFT (of course if any of you guys will read this post), this is basically violation of your's User Agreement, as it states:

"(c) Use, or provide others with, any software related to the Game, including any automation software (a.k.a. "bot") or software designed to change or modify operation of the Game;"

I, as a player, can't do anything about these bots, but to beg you to do something about it. I think that many players would agree with me, this is not harming only myself, but the whole community of players and the game itself.



The next thing is, bots aren't really customers, they're just straight up leechers, not buying anything off of L2 Store, so they won't give you ANY income at all, so banning them is not really that big of a problem, but at a longer term, it won't give anything, because one day you will ban 500 bots, the other day they're already back...



My suggestion is: finally implement an anti-bot system to the game, PLEASE! Like at least do a captcha verification at the character creation screen, then ban all the current botters, and voilà - the players are happy, that there are no bots.



TL;DR - Implement an anti-botting system, e.g. captcha verification to confirm creating a character, or just anything that would fit/work against them pesky botters...



SHARE THE WORD PLEASE, THE GAME IS SUFFERING BECAUSE OF BOTTERS.



P.S. These screenshots were taken on the side of the main area, where there are 5 times as many botters as I've captured on these screenshots below.

WTF happened to L2 ?!!

Hi there



I'm playing L2 since 2006 by period and i just came back from a 5 years break. (!)



First, i was like wow cool L2 is still the same, let's pex and rule the world.

I've never been so wrong !



Some hunting zones are now totally empty, catacombs are closed, only message i'm able to see in chat are a f**king bot and i'm leveling like if i was on a rate 20 server.



What happened ???!!

Where are peoples ?? I never see someone talking. It's so scary! I feel like being a ghost walking in another dimension !



By the way, i'm looking for a guilde.

Legality of macroes

Hi everything, I got a game mouse and the keyboard of the Razer brand not so long ago (with possibility of use of macroes).



Clearly that it is impossible to use macroes for automation you isn't present at the computer so far (consider that a boat).



Interest actually questions, whether it is authorized uses of these macroes?

l2.bin problem

hi need help



After the game had started up, a table with a sign "I2.bin stopped working" popped up. I tried to remove the folder I2.bin and then I selected "file repair", it didn't help. I also tried to reinstall it but it didn't change a thing. I have learnt somewhere that this problem has occurred to other people as well. I need help to fix this problem and, if possible, some instructions on how to do so.

why fists are so ugly?

This is a question i want to ask the dev team...why all fists weapon look so ugly compared to other weapons ? do devs spend any time to make them look better? except dark/pve/apocalypse fighters all look ugly and the future its not very promising since Shadow fighter looks like crap ...

Chasing in hide

Why there are some peaople that can chase daggers and herteia class in hide, this is pathetic, this peaople dont even try to dissimulate, they run directly to the hidden toon. this server derserves a ****.

Final Salvation

As a tribute to the original developers and artist's of L2 this is my last contribution to save the game I once enjoyed to play, in some few steps:



1- Introduce and hybrid business model: Game remains free to play until awakening, and after that you pay a symbolic monthly fee of $5, 2$ or even $1. That money would be used to guarantee original untouched adena drop amount, human friendly drop rates, enjoyable and rewarding events and rich 1-85 gameplay by having active resources enforcing the EULA.

Give an option for players to sponsor the subscription of others in case they don't have credit cards or any way to pay for it. New players can make friends in their way to awakening and get sponsored by them, creating bounds. :)



2- Remove and never again sell any type of gameplay breaking items(AS PROMISED). The human friendly drop rates from step no. 1 will cover that removal. Also make the store-only items to be acquirable ingame.



Now to the part where you get your $.



3- Turn any type of boost items into slide-able configuration in account managent. For both full account or character specific.

If you want those 16 AP, slide the SP Boost Bar to the max and go for it.

New level cap? ++++++ that XP and VT bonus bar.

For vitality maintaining/replenishing, just use some on-off checkboxes.

Every confirmed change for those configurations would be blocked from moving down for a week to guarantee the income.

In the end of the month you could pay the bill with you CC or just buy "credits"(nccoins) to pay for the boosts. Whatever best fit your interest.



Some ingame related adjustments would also be needed like bringing the PK system back to the original state, removing instanced epics and other XP/SP zones, increasing open field options, removing ninja patches like weapon critical damage modifications and magic critical rate nerf and so on.



And ofc, after that being done some thankful reward for me like a lvl1 or lvl2 Antharas Thrower for helping save the game :)

Since last update i m able to open an infinite number of boxes on my PCs, without changing anything or using any programs.

Yeah, they are allowed, if u dont autoscript some super-automated macros. But they can help not to struggle to reach & keep pressed CTRL with my short fingers.

Need help with Dualclass awaking

I m Tyr Warrior as main (level 88), and i Arcana Lord on dualclass (level 85). I ve done the quest for awakin my dual as Wynn Summoner. I ve now the scroll of afterlife item. When i talk to Wyn Summoner giants, he says me "only character level 85 or above who have completed their third class and posses afterlife scroll may awaken". He talk too about some chaos fragment...

I m level 85, i ve done third class, i m sure i m a dualclass on arcana lord, i ve tried to restart, to go back town and come back giants...



I will apppreciate any help, any tips...

Please perform a Server Restart on Naia before the clan hall sieges. NPCs have gone wild, and they keep disappearing at will.

ADD Payment Request on GIFT from l2store

Please add the feature to DEMAND PAYMENT REQUEST from gift option in l2store like the mail system has so that people can trade their adena for nccoins without getting scammed which would stimulate trades on the server and also make NCSoft more money in the process.



People gifting would still pay money for NCCoins and people wanting to use adena for it can give payment without trust issues and get their items/hero coins/etc... along with it.



This way NCSoft would get more REVENUES and stimulate trades in the game.



This would also give more sense to the Reward system with Hero coins because since the people are stimulating trade and revenues they are rewarded for their efforts,
