For me playing classic/C1 to C4 isn't really an option anymore, because I played the newer lineage to much, I got spoiled just like everyone else.
I hate the buff manager, I hate that u get every set of armor free until lvl 85.
Thats what makes lineage to easy right now and if it's to easy people will quit. (in my opinion)
I think there should be a merge between good ol' lineage C1>3 and the latest lineage release. If it was me, i would bring back the old newb towns + al the old quests and making teleporting only town to town for under 85 so people would explore the world again. (and Release the max lvl on most quest (thats dumb anyway) so you can do some of them as 85+)
make it a little difficult to get C, B, A ,S and R grade instead of giving it free (every class transfer a "difficult" quest for obtaining armor and weapons or something) and make the exp /sp so that u need atleast a few weeks to get to 85, make it a little good ol' lineage challenging again but with al the expansions.
and R grade should be only craftable ghehe;)
can anyone remember how awesome it was if u got full B - grade? i still think B grade is awesome and occasionanlly i still walk in it ( and C grade Homunkulus' Sword acumen! best sword in the game!)
and the payments you ask? maybe this should keep the way it is now and i'm not sure how many people buy stuff on lineage nowdays and what the profits should be, but again: if it was me, i would only sell xp /sp buffs/boosts and wearable's for looks and that kinda stuff, but not the real hardcore stuff like enchante items or other advantageous items for keeps (or even worse, for sells for adena) u need to buy a game to play it, not play a game to buy it. just play for your items!
and last but not least (and ofc i would gladly volunteer) get some people running around busy towns and good grinding spots to manually kick some bot-butt. (but ofc it's not a good idea to let random people do this for many reasons but still, if i see how many bots are running around, it should be easy to kick alot)
btw an hourly captcha code you need to fill (like the message: you are playing 2 hours, please take a break) to keep playing would also be a nice(optional: with a time-out for stores) it atleast helps against the 24H bots
