Healer Reinforcement skills Qustion.

I am a level 44, healer and the only reinforcement skill working for me is self healing..

is this normal?

I mean I can heal faster if I use potions, but I have about 20 reinforcements skills no working for me, some of them say is or group, I get that but my only defense as it is right now is the robe I am wearing and this way 2 straights and I am dead :(
